The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers for Friday, June 18, reveals that Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) cried in Thomas Forrester’s (Matthew Atkinson) arms while Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) warned Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) about his dangerous son.
At the cabin on Friday’s B&B episode, Hope talked about how Thomas had been stepping up with the kids. Brooke knew Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) asked Thomas to do that, but she wanted Hope to be careful.
Brooke insisted Hope couldn’t open herself up too much to Thomas and didn’t want him to misread the situation.
Hope argued that wouldn’t happen because she wouldn’t let it. She was just worried about Liam, but Brooke insisted that Hope would be reunited with her husband.
Hope let herself get riled up over Bill and declared that she’d never forgive him for jeopardizing her family’s future.
At Forrester Creations, Ridge noticed Thomas hadn’t made much progress on a design from a few days ago. Thomas admitted to being distracted by all the drama lately, so Ridge guessed he would be too if he was asked to look after someone’s family.
Ridge praised Thomas as a good father and a good friend to Hope.
That led Thomas to wonder if Ridge thought Liam was right to entrust his family to him. Ridge suggested “count on” was a more appropriate way of looking at it.
When Thomas said he was Hope’s support system, Ridge argued that Thomas was part of a larger one. He hoped Thomas understood that he wasn’t taking Liam’s place.
Meanwhile, Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) caught Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) thinking back on steamy memories. He knew that look, but Quinn wanted to wipe all those memories from her mind.
Carter suggested that despite their best efforts, the secret could come out. He thought it might be better to come clean on their own, but Quinn freaked and shut down that plan.
As Quinn became increasingly upset, Carter pulled her close – and then Eric Forrester (John McCook) walked through the door. Quinn said Carter was just leaving, but Eric said not before someone told him what was happening here.
Quinn claimed it was nothing and explained that she just got a little emotional about repairing her marriage to Eric. She thanked Carter for listening and for his friendship.
Carter had to head out, but he wished Eric and Quinn many years of happiness together before he exited.
Once Quinn was alone with Eric, she promised she was totally committed to him. Quinn embraced Eric and insisted she just wanted to be Mrs. Eric Forrester for the rest of her life.
Elsewhere, Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes) asked if Paris Buckingham (Diamond White) thought she should have a formal or an informal wedding. Zoe didn’t really care as long as she was marrying Carter.
Zoe sought updates on Paris and Zende Forrester Dominguez’s (Delon de Metz) romance next. She hated how things went down before, but she wanted a more open and honest relationship with Paris from now on.
After Carter entered, Zoe kissed her handsome fiancé and admired her engagement ring. Carter talked about the power of second chances and thought they could put their mistakes behind them to live the life they wanted.
As Carter hugged Zoe, he exchanged a glare with an annoyed Paris.
Brooke met up with Ridge in the main office and admitted she’d always be wary of Thomas due to his actions in the past. She said that was just the way it had to be. “Especially if there’s still a chance that the old Thomas could still resurface,” Brooke insisted.
Brooke thought it was dangerous for Thomas to contemplate a future with Hope. She didn’t want Thomas thinking that when Hope’s future was with Liam. Ridge was frustrated since they’d been over this so many times, but Brooke refused to budge on her stance.
Back at the cabin, Thomas visited Hope and assured her that he could be a shoulder to cry on. Hope felt if she started crying, she’d never stop. Thomas knew Hope was scared and didn’t want her to feel pressured to stay strong around him.
Hope didn’t want to surrender to the fear since it’d be like accepting the possibility that Liam wouldn’t come home. The tears started falling as Hope said she couldn’t let that happen, but that it was already happening.
Thomas promised to be there for Hope – day or night, text or call. He told Hope she would always have him and added that she should never forget it. Thomas pulled Hope into a tight embrace as she cried.
