The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) may push Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) to join Team Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) when it’s time for Douglas Forrester’s (Henry Joseph Samiri) dad to pick a side in the grandpa battle.
B&B fans know there are plenty of concerns about Hope’s desire to get close to her father, but the biggest issue here is that she wants Deacon to have a shot at being a grandfather.
There’s been talk about the danger to the children, but Hope doesn’t see Deacon as any sort of threat.
Deacon would obviously never do anything to intentionally harm Beth Spencer, Douglas or even Kelly Spencer (Avalon and Collette Gray) if she happens to be over for a visit.
All this danger drama seems overblown, but Hope’s not having much luck getting anyone on her side.
Of course, Douglas is Thomas’ son, so he deserves to weigh in on this as well.
We certainly know how Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) feels about Deacon, so he would want Thomas to stand with him and try to get through to Hope.
However, Hope has always had a rather tight grip on Thomas’ emotions. It’s easy to imagine Hope making a powerful speech about how she saw the good in Thomas and gave him another chance.
How can Thomas really judge Deacon since he knows so much about making mistakes and trying to reform?
If Thomas can turn his life around, so can Deacon. To be honest, Ridge has got some nerve asking everyone to embrace the changes in Thomas while completely disregarding the possibility that Deacon has changed.
Thomas might even stand up to Ridge and remind him of that for Hope’s sake.
Although Thomas is focused on Paris Buckingham (Diamond White) right now, he should become more tangled up in his own family drama once Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) returns.
That’s especially true if Paris rejects Thomas and causes him to move out of her orbit.
Regardless, Hope’s decision about Deacon involves Douglas, which means it should involve Thomas, too.
