The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Linsey Godfrey (Sarah Horton) is out at Days of Our Lives, so we have to consider the possibility that she might land back at B&B. Godfrey had plenty of fans in the role of Caroline Spencer before she was written out and ultimately wound up at DOOL.
Sadly, The Bold and the Beautiful writers made the decision to give Caroline an offscreen death in 2019. Caroline was killed off due to complications following a blood clot, but that writing choice left many viewers bitter about the unnecessary exit.
Now that Godfrey’s available again, could B&B have a chance to undo their mistake? In the soap world, faked deaths are always possible. There would be ways for The Bold and the Beautiful to bring Caroline back if they really wanted to make it happen.
It’s easy to imagine some great stories coming out of that as Caroline fought to reclaim her role as Douglas Forrester’s (Henry Joseph Samiri) mother from Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle). A love triangle featuring Caroline, Thomas and Hope might be interesting to pursue.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers hint that Thomas and Hope may be poised for couple status if their friendship keeps growing. If Hope and Thomas lock in a future as well as their family with Douglas, that might be the ideal opportunity to let Caroline resurface and shake things up.
Then again, The Bold and the Beautiful could always let Godfrey return as a brand-new character. It’s been long enough now that fans could easily embrace Godfrey as someone else – and that’d open the door to plenty of new storylines, too.
There’d be all kinds of possibilities if Godfrey made a comeback at B&B, so it’s worth mulling over the thought of the CBS soap snatching her up once more.
