The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) has a huge moment in her future. Of course, we’re talking about the life-changing moment when Steffy learns who her baby’s father is.
It was too soon for a paternity test when Steffy last spoke to Dr. Campbell (Tina Huang), but Steffy will be able to safely move forward with the plan during the week of February 1-5.
Once the paternity test is over, all that’s left to do will be to wait for the results – and face Brooke Forrester’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) wrath! In the new issue of SOD, Jacqueline MacInnes Wood (JMW) opened up about the paternity big reveal that’s looming.
JMW previewed the upcoming drama and offered her thoughts on how Steffy’s handling all this.
For starters, Wood acknowledged that a life with John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) is what Steffy wants.
Steffy may have a weak spot for Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) and a permanent connection through Kelly Spencer (Avalon and Collette Gray), but Steffy’s hoping with all her heart that Finn is the father this time.
“Steffy is praying this baby is Finn’s,” Wood insisted. “She wants it to be Finn’s baby and live happily ever after. Ha!”
Uh-oh. That “Ha!” seems like a bit of a warning, doesn’t it? No one gets to live happily ever after on a soap, but Steffy may not get her Finn baby wish granted either – not right now anyway.
Wood’s clue suggests B&B writers won’t make this easy for “SINN,” which lines up with other Bold and the Beautiful spoilers about unknown powers being at work and messing with the situation.
All signs point to paternity test tampering, but Wood was tight-lipped on whether that’d be part of the story.
Instead, Wood focused on how Steffy would deal with the verbal smackdown she’s about to get from Brooke. Steffy won’t just stand by and take what Hope Spencer’s (Annika Noelle) mom dishes out. Wood argued that “Steffy is like Taylor” and added that Steffy “gives and good as she gets.”
There’ll be no fear on Steffy’s end, so she’ll fire right back and throw some of Hope’s old transgressions in Brooke’s face. Steffy will think there have been mistakes on both sides of the Liam love triangle over the years, so she really won’t want care about Brooke’s criticism.
As for Steffy and Finn’s future, Wood noted that this baby was a massive thing to happen so early in their romance. Nevertheless, Finn is committed to moving forward with Steffy, so Wood let B&B fans know Steffy is “very grateful.”
It sounds like Steffy and Finn will have more hurdles, but the goal is to stick together and ride the waves! As other B&B news and updates emerge, we’ll bring you the latest details.
