The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that on Instagram, Kelly Kruger teased her upcoming return as Eva the Forrester International publicist.
Of course, most B&B fans know by now that Kruger is married to Darin Brooks (Wyatt Spencer) in real life. Kruger teased her hubby with a joke about his dressing room and offered some behind-the-scenes info as well. Let’s look at what Kruger had to say in her post and talk about why she might be returning as Eva.
“Hey @boldandbeautifulcbs fans guess who’s back Feb 12th??” Kruger asked on Instagram. “Eva is heading back to LA! Any guesses on story? What would you love to see happen for her?”
Kruger encouraged everyone to message her about how long they’ve been watching the show and is hoping fans will tune in for her upcoming appearance.
“We do our own hair and makeup for safety reasons now hence the mess of a makeup counter,” Kruger said with a rolling on the floor laughing emoji. She offered a glimpse of her final look for her return visit, which looks gorgeous as always.
“Also don’t tell @theedarinbrooks how much I mess up his dressing room when he’s not there…” Kruger joked. Brooks teased Kruger right back in the comments section of her post. “What??? When?!? … Wait… did you mess up my dressing room AGAIN?!? Damnit!!” Brooks said.
It was a cute exchange between this husband and wife acting duo.
As for why Kruger’s returning as Eva, we have to think about why Forrester Creations might need their international publicist. There’s bound to be a ton of publicity surrounding Steffy Forrester’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) pregnancy – at least if B&B writers tell this story realistically.
That’s especially true if the paternity results reveal Steffy’s current boyfriend, John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan), isn’t the father. The media’s going to have a field day with if Steffy’s pregnant by her ex-husband, Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton), or at least appears to be based on the DNA evidence.
Could Eva’s appearance tie in with managing the Forrester publicity following the pregnancy announcement? It’s a possibility to consider. If not, Eva could still be part of why Steffy heads off canvas.
This could easily connect to the setup for Jacqueline MacInnes Wood’s upcoming maternity leave and Steffy’s temporary exit. There might be some project at an international branch of Forrester that Eva thinks Steffy needs to deal with in person – perhaps a way to generate some good publicity instead of bad.
Whatever the case, Eva is returning right after Steffy gets her paternity results and that can’t be a coincidence! We’ll fill you in as other B&B news and updates emerge.
