The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) may cave to Hope Spencer’s (Annika Noelle) Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) pressure and realize it might be the only way to save his marriage.
Liam has been trying to stand his ground when it comes to keeping Deacon at a distance, but Hope’s just as resolute about bringing her dad closer. She wants to get to know Deacon on a deeper level and eventually let him get to know his grandchildren, too.
Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) are glad to have Liam on their side, but he may not stay there for much longer. Liam got a taste of what a world without Hope could be like when he was behind bars after the whole Vinny Walker (Joe LoCicero) debacle. He never wants to live through that again, so surrendering to what Hope wants may be the only option.
Hope wouldn’t be pushing so hard if this wasn’t something that really mattered to her. Deacon has also never done anything that suggests he’d be some horrible threat to children, especially if visits are supervised. Liam may ultimately have to recognize that and slowly let Deacon fold into their family.
Ridge and Brooke Forrester’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) crumbling marriage may serve as a cautionary tale for Liam in the coming episodes. After Liam sees how much he truly has to lose, he might grant Hope’s wish to embrace Deacon as part of their lives – within reason and while proceeding with caution of course!
Hope will be ecstatic if Liam finally stands with her on this, but you can bet Steffy will be furious. She doesn’t want John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) getting any ideas about letting Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) into the picture!
As for Sheila, she might be torn about this Liam development. Part of Sheila might be jealous over Deacon taking even more steps forward in his own plan. Another part of Sheila could become increasingly convinced that Steffy is the real problem – one that must be eliminated.
B&B fans know Steffy could be in grave danger if Sheila starts to go off the rails, so that’s something to keep in mind. In the meantime, it looks like Liam may have to back down regarding Deacon since Hope isn’t going to – at least if he still wants a future with her!
