The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) may ban Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) over his pursuit of a reunion with Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang), but that’ll lead to trouble if Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) argues that her mom and dad belong together.
There have been plenty of hints about the drama that’s brewing in Hope and Liam’s marriage. We’ve already seen signs of growing conflict, but Liam’s been wary of drawing a line in the sand with his wife.
Liam doesn’t want to be a controlling husband, but Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) is pressuring his son to focus on protecting his family no matter how Hope feels about it.
Of course, there may indeed come a day when Liam feels he has to put his foot down – and that day could come after Deacon makes a bold move to reunite with Brooke.
If Liam realizes Deacon’s close to getting Brooke back in his bed and perhaps even by his side as a real couple, he’s going to have a serious problem with that. Brooke is weak for Deacon and may not be able to resist his temptation for long.
Deacon seems poised to make more progress with Brooke, especially due to the tension he’s creating in her marriage to Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye). If Liam sees that progress, he may feel like Deacon’s just using Hope to win Brooke over.
Liam might argue that this father-daughter bonding push has always been about Brooke, not Hope.
Naturally, Hope would disagree and rush to Deacon’s defense. She might also defend Deacon and Brooke’s right to reunite romantically if that’s what they both want.
Hope could see the potential for a united family just like Deacon does and fully support that vision for all of them. She might contend that Deacon is a better match for Brooke than Ridge and urge Liam to accept that things change.
B&B’s been laying the groundwork for Liam to take a major stand against Deacon – and for Hope to fight back with a stand of her own!
Now that the show’s teased the potential for terrible turmoil in Hope and Liam’s marriage, they have to follow up on it.
Deacon’s pursuit of Brooke presents the ideal opportunity for Hope and Liam’s relationship to take a huge hit.
Liam’s bound to be concerned about Deacon’s ulterior motives for getting close to Hope, so this could lead to some explosive arguments and a possible separation.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Deacon will become a bigger marriage issue for Liam and Hope in the weeks ahead.
