The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) and Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) are going to get some big news during the week of March 8-12.
It appears that news will break that John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) is the father of Steffy Forrester’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) baby, and that will probably give Liam some hope that he and Hope can work things out and reunite as a couple.
But just because Liam won’t be the father of Steffy’s baby doesn’t necessarily mean that he and Hope will magically be able to work through their issues.
Sure, Hope will probably be greatly relieved that Liam’s not having another child with Steffy, but the fact will remain that Liam slept with Steffy, and that really hurts Hope.
In fact, there’s a good chance that Hope might just tell Liam to hit the road despite the paternity reveal. And if that happens, Liam’s going to be the big loser in the situation, as Steffy will have Finn and Hope will probably turn to Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) for comfort.
In fact, Hope and Thomas may become quite close going forward, especially since they’re coparents to Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri). Well, when and if “Lope” split up and Hope starts spending more time with Thomas, that could put Liam in a difficult spot.
Liam might not want his daughter Beth Spencer (River Davidson and Madeline Valdez) around Thomas, and he could use Beth as a weapon to interfere in Hope’s ongoing relationship with Thomas.
In fact, we could even see Liam sue for full custody of Beth, on the grounds that Thomas shouldn’t be a major part of her life. Let’s face it, if Hope does dump Liam, then he’s going to have basically nothing, and clinging to Beth and trying to get custody of her might be the only thing that Liam’s got.
It will be interesting to see what happens here, but Liam might just take the stance that he doesn’t want his daughter involved in a potentially growing family between Thomas and Hope.
It could be the only avenue that Liam has left to fight for Hope, yet it would probably infuriate Hope beyond belief if Liam tried to take Beth from her.
Whatever happens, it’s probably safe to assume that Hope and Liam are going to have a difficult road going forward, even though Liam is almost certainly going to be revealed not to be the father of Steffy’s baby.
