The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) will soon get some news that he feels could positively affect his marriage. Liam’s betrayal with Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) was made a thousand times worse by the fact that she wound up pregnant with his child.
At least that’s how the paternity results made it seem!
However, Vinny Walker’s (Joe LoCicero) paternity test tampering is on the verge of exposure, which means that’ll take away an obstacle in Liam’s quest to fix his relationship.
That doesn’t guarantee Liam will be able to repair the damage with Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle), but it does eliminate one challenge in getting there.
Once the paternity truth comes out and John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) is revealed as Steffy’s latest “baby daddy,” what’s next? What should the future hold for Liam?
In a new interview with SOD, Clifton admitted he’d like to see Liam suffer. The B&B star opened up about Liam being what happens “when you combine the worst possible luck with the worst possible judgment.” Clifton suggested that if he puts himself in the position of a fan, he’d like to see Liam pay.
In fact, Clifton argued that he “would love to see Liam lose everything because of this: Hope, Steffy, maybe even his relationship with his kids.”
Clifton seems to understand why The Bold and the Beautiful viewers tend to get frustrated with Liam, who never seems to learn any kind of lesson after bad behavior and mistakes.
From Clifton’s perspective, he feels like it’d be beneficial for Liam to have a happy ending that’s earned instead of something he negotiates for. With that in mind, Clifton suggested that it’d be good for Liam to sink to a pretty dark place.
“I’d like to see him hit rock bottom and realize he can’t apologize his way out of every blunder, only to keep on blundering,” Clifton said.
Plenty of B&B fans would agree with Clifton on that! Now that we know the paternity twist is about to be revealed, does that mean Liam and Hope will truly get their marriage back on track?
That’ll be what Liam expects to do, but we can hold out hope that maybe Liam still won’t get his wish.
This would be a great opportunity for Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) to steal Hope’s heart without any manipulation. Liam deserves a taste of his own medicine.
Liam needs to watch the woman he loves waffle toward someone else – just like Liam’s done to Hope and Steffy over the years!
