The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Monday, April 5, reveals that Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) and Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) acknowledged their unexpected kiss.
However, Hope pointed out that it didn’t change Liam’s betrayal. Liam knew that, but he also felt it proved that they both wanted the same thing. Liam felt confident the love he shared with Hope could conquer anything.
After checking on Beth Spencer (River Davidson and Madeline Valdez) briefly, Liam talked about how much he missed being there with Hope and the kids all the time. Hope confessed she missed it just as much as Liam.
Once Liam mentioned that Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) was up at the main house and that they drove there together, Hope pointed out he’d been spending a lot of time with his dad.
Liam was still focused on Hope. He argued that it wasn’t fair that they were struggling while someone like Vinny Walker (Joe LoCicero) was already out on bail.
Liam ranted about how Vinny should’ve been held until his trial. “If it were up to me, nobody would ever see the guy’s stupid lying face again,” Liam snarled. “I really think…I think I hate him.”
Liam felt like Vinny had played games with all their lives and warned Hope to keep her guard up – just in case Vinny came around looking for Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson).
Hope insisted that Thomas no longer wanted anything to do with Vinny. She felt the important thing was it had all worked out for Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan), who knew the truth about their baby’s paternity.
Liam was hopeful things would work out in his relationship with Hope, too.
At Brooke Forrester’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) place, she assured Bill that it was fine if he poured himself a drink – as long as he didn’t mind drinking alone.
Talk turned to their kids, so Bill insisted that Liam knew how badly he screwed up. Bill felt confident Liam would do whatever it took to make things right with Hope – and Bill would do whatever he could to protect Liam and his future.
Back at the cabin, Liam wondered if Hope would be willing to have lunch with him tomorrow. Hope agreed that sounded nice.
Once Bill and Brooke joined Liam and Hope, Bill made a speech about how the longer they let this rift go on, the harder it’d be to repair it. Bill felt Liam and Hope had to hold onto each other right now.
After Bill and Liam left, Brooke pointed out she could see the way Hope was looking at her husband. Brooke felt Hope was still very much in love with Liam, so Hope ultimately admitted fixing things didn’t seem so impossible now.
Hope came clean about the kiss, so Brooke was over the moon about the bright future she saw for Hope and Liam.
Since Bill had been drinking, he let Liam drive the car. Liam gushed about how this night just kept getting better and better! Once Liam was behind the wheel on Monday’s B&B episode, he couldn’t stop smiling.
Bill felt Liam should focus on the road, but he was curious about Liam’s positive chat with Hope.
Liam confessed was feeling a lot more hopeful about repairing his marriage – and Bill thought that was good to hear. Liam argued that he wouldn’t stop until they were back together.
“And there’s not a thing in the world—” Liam suddenly had to slam on the brakes due to running over something on the road.
Once Liam and Bill got out of the car, they realized Vinny had been hit. Vinny gasped from his severe injuries and was clearly near death.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Vinny’s demise will begin a whodunit since Liam’s role in all this isn’t exactly what it seems to be!
At Forrester Creations, Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) returned and got confirmation from Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes) that she spiked Paris Buckingham’s (Diamond White) smoothie with the digestive blend.
Quinn assured Zoe that it was organic and harmless, but that stomach noises would indeed result. Zoe smiled along with Quinn about Paris’ date tonight being a memorable one.
Later, Zoe insisted she didn’t want anything awful to happen – and Quinn once again reassured her about it just being a case of a noisy stomach.
Zoe admitted she was tired of hearing about what a kind and compassionate person her sister was. She thought maybe this would show Paris she wasn’t so perfect.
At the Forrester mansion, Zende welcomed Paris and revealed a romantic setup. He gushed about how he feels when he’s with Paris and wanted to see where the night would take them.
Zende mentioned the Forrester jet, but Paris couldn’t tell if he was kidding.
When Zende finally offered to give Paris a hint, she opted to stay in the dark since she loves surprises. Zende continued to praise Paris for being such an amazing person inside and out. He admitted he’s never met anyone like Paris.
The conversation shifted to Paris’ broken bond with Zoe, but she was hopeful her sister would come around – both on her Forrester job and her relationship with Zende.
Paris caught herself and realized she perhaps shouldn’t have called it a relationship so soon, but Zende was “totally OK” with it.
