The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers for Monday, August 9, tease that John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) will invite Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) to the reception, where an outraged Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) will face her nightmare mother-in-law.
B&B fans know Sheila just introduced herself as Finn’s mother, so they’ll have a tender conversation at the guesthouse.
Finn has already expressed a desire to meet his birth mom one day, but he doesn’t feel bitter or abandoned since he had such wonderful adoptive parents.
Finn’s mostly curious about his past and grateful that he had a good upbringing.
All of that means Finn should be his usual caring self and handle the situation peacefully. It shouldn’t take long for Finn to form a fast bond with Sheila, but he won’t have all the facts.
Once Finn invites Sheila to the reception, she’ll happily accept that invitation. Sheila will know she’s about to cause outrage with her presence alone – not to mention the bio mom shocker she’ll bring to the table.
However, Sheila lives for drama and will no doubt enjoy making a stunning entrance.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) will be so taken aback that she drops her glass and shatters it into tiny pieces on the floor.
Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) certainly won’t be happy to see Sheila either and will soon push her to scram.
Steffy may be the most upset of all since she’ll assume Sheila’s come to destroy her big day somehow. Of course, Finn won’t understand why everyone’s trying to run Sheila off.
Sheila will take great pleasure in spreading the word about her biological connection to Finn, but she’ll be met with doubt.
Despite facing accusations of lying, Sheila will stand firm on being Finn’s birth mother. She’ll probably insist she comes in peace, but Steffy and the rest of the Forresters just can’t trust her.
They won’t think Finn should trust Sheila either, so he’ll ultimately get some horror stories about how much of a psychopath Sheila has proven to be.
This mess is only going to get messier in the coming episodes, so we’ll offer updates as other B&B news rolls in.
