The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Monday, December 27, teases that Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) decided to forbid Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) and Deacon Sharpe’s (Sean Kanan) friendship and vowed to cut her enemy out. That led to Sheila fighting back, so here’s how things played out on Monday’s B&B episode.
At Il Giardino, Brooke found Deacon stocking the bar, so he explained that he was filling in for Paul since his wife just had a baby.
Brooke said that was thoughtful before talk turned to Christmas. Deacon had the best one ever since he was able to spend some time with Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle).
Brooke recalled the excitement of the children at the Forrester mansion before mentioning the New Year’s Eve drink she had in mind.
Deacon knew the fake Champagne that Brooke was talking about since it was popular with their non-drinking crowd.
Since they only had one bottle on hand that was already spoken for, Deacon said he could have one delivered to Brooke later.
When Sheila appeared, Brooke flew into a rage over her arrival. Sheila asked if somebody put a lump of coal in Brooke’s stocking since she was being even nastier than usual.
Brooke demanded to know if Deacon was still involved with Sheila, but he promised nothing romantic was going on. Deacon reminded Brooke this was a public establishment and acted like he couldn’t control whether Sheila showed up.
Sheila ranted about Brooke getting all high and mighty as usual. When Sheila said Deacon was her friend, Brooke warned that Sheila couldn’t be in his life.
Deacon backed Brooke up on that being for the best, so Sheila launched a tirade about how she made something of herself as a registered nurse.
Meanwhile, Brooke slept her way up and down the Forrester ladder!
Brooke defended herself as an accomplished chemist who went to college, but Sheila felt like it was a “once a slut from the valley, always a slut from the valley” situation.
Brooke fired back about Sheila being completely insane before Deacon tried to play referee.
However, Sheila felt like Brooke had no compassion and wondered why she couldn’t be more like Taylor.
Brooke laughed when Sheila claimed she attended the Christmas gathering at the cliff house. She didn’t think Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) would ever allow Sheila in her home.
Sheila insisted that Taylor talked Steffy and John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) into inviting her.
Although Taylor opened the door just a crack, Brooke intended to slam it, lock it and throw away the key! She vowed to make sure Sheila came nowhere near her family, “especially Steffy, Finn and Hayes.”
Brooke thought Sheila was manipulating Taylor, who had perhaps forgotten just how diabolical her old enemy could be.
Brooke felt confident Ridge would agree with her and intended to “make damn sure” he knew how crazy Sheila was.
After Sheila softened a bit, she begged Brooke for a little mercy since she didn’t want someone to mess up this chance to bond with her family.
Brooke couldn’t do that since Sheila was a dangerous sociopath. “I am going to make certain that you are out of all of our lives – once and for all,” Brooke added.
While Brooke was at home with New Year’s Eve supplies that included a Champagne bottle, Sheila fumed by the bar at Il Giardino.
Sheila wanted a way to put Brooke in her place and reflected on overhearing about the nonalcoholic Champagne bottle delivery.
“This is how I stop Brooke, and it all starts New Year’s Eve,” Sheila said as she held the bottle that was left nearby.
At Forrester Creations, Steffy gushed to Paris Buckingham (Diamond White) about how great it was to have her mom back in town.
Steffy pointed out that Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) was still close to Taylor despite their divorce.
Steffy was glad to know Taylor would be sticking around after the holidays, but she wasn’t thrilled over Sheila being on the guest list for their Christmas bash. That said, Steffy did trust Taylor’s reason for wanting to invite Sheila.
Zende Forrester Dominguez (Delon de Metz) eventually found Paris after looking all over for her. He wanted to confirm Paris would be spending New Year’s Eve with him since he had something epic planned.
Steffy pushed Zende to offer more of a hint, but he said his lips were sealed and rushed off to meet someone.
Once Zende was gone, Steffy assured Paris that Zende was really into her. “Wow!” Steffy exclaimed as she remarked on just how much!
Steffy reflected on the Forrester men impressing their women through grand gestures – like when Ridge proposed to Taylor through a treasure hunt.
Steffy was eager to find out what Zende had in store for Paris on New Year’s Eve.
Back with Zende, he picked up Paris’ finished engagement ring from Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer).
Zende was blown away and expressed his gratitude to Quinn, who asked if Paris knew he was about to pop the question.
Zende wasn’t sure if Paris had any inkling, but he knew he wanted to spend the rest of his life with Paris and had to believe she felt the same way about him.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Zende’s magical night won’t go according to plan, so stay tuned to see what’s in store.
