The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers for Monday, January 4, tease that Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) will reel from what he’s just heard from Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood).
As B&B viewers know, Steffy has just told Liam that there’s a new wrinkle with respect to the big secret that they’re keeping about their night together – she’s pregnant! Liam looked completely taken aback and confused by the revelation, and on Monday’s new episode, Liam will respond.
Not surprisingly, it seems that Liam’s initial reaction will be that he and Steffy need to disclose their affair to their respective partners immediately.
Liam will probably argue that since Steffy is pregnant, there’s obviously going to be a paternity test, and that will mean that John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) and Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) are necessarily going to find out why a paternity test would need to be run.
Look for Steffy and Liam to go back and forth in typical fashion about what their next move should be. According to The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers, Liam will strongly argue that he needs to go tell Hope the truth immediately, while Steffy wants them to just slow down, take a breath, and figure out their next move.
In the short term, it looks like Steffy will win this argument, as it will be a bit longer before the secret is ultimately revealed.
Meanwhile, on the new episode of B&B on Monday, January 4, Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) will find himself getting emotional.
As B&B viewers know, Thomas and Hope have been spending some time together talking at Brooke Forrester’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) mansion, and Thomas is in the process of apologizing to Hope for all the pain he’s caused.
Well, through their conversation, Thomas will learn a startling fact – that Liam actually witnessed his kiss with the Hope mannequin, and that it caused problems in Liam and Hope’s marriage.
According to B&B spoilers, Thomas will have a variety of feelings in response to hearing this news – he’ll feel embarrassed over kissing the mannequin as well as remorseful for causing problems for Hope.
Look for Thomas to make a heartfelt apology to Hope over how his actions have affected her. Thomas will realize that his actions have caused great pain for Hope – starting with when he helped conceal Beth Spencer’s (River Davidson and Madeline Valdez) existence and culminating in his kiss with the Hope mannequin.
Hope will surely be gracious about Thomas’ apology, and it seems that she’ll see that it’s coming from a real place of honesty and sincerely.
It seems that Hope will also see Thomas’ great embarrassment over his behavior with the mannequin, so she’ll probably reassure him that everyone understands that he wasn’t in his right mind.
