The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers for Monday, July 19, tease that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) will want to meet John “Finn” Finnegan’s (Tanner Novlan) parents before marriage while Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) and Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) find themselves with a new secret to keep.
B&B fans know Finn’s happier than he’s ever been in his life, so he’s ready to marry Steffy right away.
However, Steffy will catch the doc off guard when she delays their union for an important reason.
Steffy will suggest there’s something standing in their way, so Finn’s mind will go straight to Liam (Scott Clifton).
That’s reasonable considering Steffy shares a child with Liam and cheated with him in the not-so-distant past.
Thankfully, Steffy is all in on Finn! She’ll let her fiancé know this has nothing to do with her former flame and everything to do with Finn’s family.
Steffy has never met Finn’s mom or dad, so she’ll hope Finn’s willing to make some introductions before they take their relationship into official marriage territory.
Perhaps Steffy will think it’s bad enough that they had a baby before she even met the Finnegans!
The least they can do is set up some time to let Finn’s parents get to know Steffy before she ties the knot with their son. Unfortunately, Finn will seem troubled by Steffy’s suggestion.
Things are complicated for several reasons that’ll be revealed over time, but a big one involves the powerful status of the Forrester clan.
Finn may not be so sure his family’s going to mix well with Steffy’s, but she may argue that’ll all work out fine.
Steffy might add that Hayes Finnegan could use Grandma and Grandpa time, so she’ll be hopeful about talking Finn into a family reunion.
Since Finn can never say no to Steffy, he should get on board sooner or later.
In the meantime, Carter and Quinn’s make-out session will turn into a full-blown romp in the sack.
Once the deed is done, Quinn and Carter will realize they once again have a secret to keep.
They’ll beat themselves up for being unable to avoid temptation, but they’ll also savor every moment of this incredible spark they keep feeling.
