The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Monday, July 26, reveals that Quinn Fuller (Rena Sofer) feared a new woman for Eric Forrester (John McCook) while Paris Buckingham (Diamond White) gushed over handsome Dr. John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan). Let’s talk about how things played out on Monday’s B&B episode.
At Forrester Creations, Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) filled Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) in on Paris moving in the cliff house for a while.
Steffy was amazed over Paris being able to calm Hayes Forrester Finnegan down when no one else could, so Ridge thought that sounded like a great setup.
Even so, Ridge felt like Paris wouldn’t have had to find a place if Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) and Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) hadn’t done what they did.
Steffy understood Zoe Buckingham’s (Kiara Barnes) desire to stay in Paris. She couldn’t imagine what she would’ve done if she found out the man she loved was having an affair with the boss’ wife!
As for Paris, she approached Zende Forrester Dominguez (Delon de Metz), who was shirtless since he’d been trying on some new designs.
Zende was taken aback to learn about Paris’ new living arrangement and warned she wouldn’t have much privacy.
However, Paris was looking forward to all the activity in the house – and she was excited to get to know Finn better.
After Paris talked about how incredible it was to see Steffy balance her career and family, she pointed out that Steffy made a great team with Finn.
Paris was impressed by Finn’s commitment to Steffy along with his funny dad jokes and how genuine he seemed. She felt like Steffy landed a real catch. “A handsome doctor? It’s pretty hard to beat!” Paris insisted.
Back with Steffy and Ridge, they discussed how Eric was likely putting on a brave face. Ridge was hopeful that Quinn was finally out of their lives for good.
When Flo Logan (Katrina Bowden) appeared with some legal papers for Carter, Ridge was uncertain of his whereabouts.
Steffy wondered if the documents might be time-sensitive ones related to the divorce and encouraged Ridge to call Carter in case he needed to know immediately.
At Carter’s loft, he couldn’t imagine never holding Quinn in his arms again. Although Quinn felt it too, she insisted it was complicated.
Quinn added that their hearts were beating in unison and admitted she never wanted this to end. Carter echoed Quinn’s “never” before they started undressing to make love.
Afterward, Quinn confessed to feeling so at peace and knew there were a million reasons why this shouldn’t be happening. However, there was only one thing Quinn knew for sure – and that was that she couldn’t stay away from Carter.
Ridge eventually called, so Carter answered and put it on speaker. He was grateful for the heads-up about the papers he’d been expecting.
Quinn looked guilty as Ridge talked about Eric’s broken heart and how his dad was ready to move on. Carter said he wasn’t coming back into the office tonight, but that he’d get back at it first thing in the morning.
Once Ridge hung up, Steffy seemed surprised that Eric was willing to let the guy who broke up his marriage handle the divorce.
Ridge countered that Quinn’s the one who broke up the marriage and defended Carter as someone trying to redeem himself. Ridge felt confident Carter wouldn’t screw up again.
Back at Carter’s loft, Quinn reflected on her devastating betrayal and wondered if there was another woman in the picture for Eric. Carter asked if that would upset Quinn, so she admitted it would break her heart.
Even so, Quinn knew she needed to move on as well and plan her life. She wished she could plan it with Carter, so he pointed out he could get a job somewhere else.
However, Quinn didn’t like that idea and just wanted to forget everything for a while. She let herself get wrapped up in this beautiful and forbidden connection she’d found.
