The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Monday, June 28, reveals that Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) discovered Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) was missing while Shauna Fulton (Denise Richards) called Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) out for her true Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) feelings.
At Spencer Publications on Monday’s B&B episode, Justin Barber (Aaron D. Spears) was back down with Thomas in the caged basement area.
Justin insisted no one would know the truth about Vinny Walker’s (Joe LoCicero) death and argued that he should’ve been Bill Spencer’s (Don Diamont) co-CEO years ago.
Justin thought he was a genius for taking advantage of this opportunity and once again left Thomas locked up. Afterward, Justin looked at a framed photo of Bill and Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) in Bill’s office.
Justin poured himself a drink before Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) came in and wondered where Bill had been.
Wyatt seemed agitated as he hoped Bill had been handling things for Bill and Liam. “Precisely,” Justin replied. When Wyatt panicked over some contracts, Justin assured him that he’d taken care of everything.
Since Wyatt was so stressed out over the huge burden of running the company, Justin pushed him to just focus on his family and leave Spencer Publications to him.
“I’ll keep everything rocking and rolling for good old ‘Dollar Bill,’ all right?” Justin said. After Wyatt thought for a moment, he said all right and added that he appreciated it.
Wyatt then realized Flo Logan (Katrina Bowden) was trying to get in touch, so Justin pushed him to text back or better yet call her.
Wyatt was thankful as he left, but Justin suggested he was just repaying all the things Bill had done over the years.
After Justin was alone, he flashed back to various moments when Bill had berated him and barked orders. Justin seemed pleased with himself as he pointed out “payback’s a bitch.”
At Forrester Creations, Ridge was puzzled since Thomas didn’t show up for their scheduled meeting. He asked if Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) had seen Thomas, but she hadn’t.
Talk turned to Liam and Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle), so Brooke suggested she was choosing to stay positive and believe in the couple’s happily ever after.
When Ridge still hadn’t heard from Thomas later, he wondered where his son could be. Meanwhile, Liam got a visit from Hope in jail and wondered what was going through Vinny’s head that night.
Liam also worried that maybe it wasn’t a good idea to leave the kids in the dark on what was happening, but Hope didn’t want Liam worrying about that.
Instead, Hope wanted to focus on getting Liam out of there. Liam insisted Justin was working on it and mentioned some private investigators were supposed to be digging into why Vinny was on the road.
Although Liam had been calling it a coincidence, he thought maybe there could be another explanation.
At the Forrester mansion, Quinn explained to Eric Forrester (John Mccook) that she wanted to put all her mistakes behind her with this vow renewal. She pushed Eric to give her this chance to recommit to their marriage, so Eric made a quick call summoning someone to the house right away.
While Eric was dealing with another work call, Quinn talked to Shauna about the vow renewal. She thought Shauna of all people should understand why she needed to put the past behind her.
Shauna wondered if that was possible, especially if Quinn still had unresolved feelings for Carter.
Quinn tried to deny it, but Shauna argued that she’d seen Quinn and Carter together. Shauna didn’t get the sense that whatever feelings they had between them were completely gone.
Suddenly, Carter walked in and left a concerned Quinn curious about what he was doing there. Eric returned and piped up about asking Carter to come over.
Once Carter got updates on the vow renewal, Eric asked him to officiate and knew that’s what Quinn would want, too. Carter hesitated before telling Eric he could count on him – and Quinn looked like a nervous wreck!
