The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers update for Monday, October 4, teases that Eric Forrester (John McCook) will throw Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) out and struggle with his latest epiphany. Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) will also score a big win, so let’s talk about what’s coming up.
At the Forrester mansion, Ridge will keep trying to get through to Eric.
The way Ridge sees it, Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) has pulled the wool over Eric’s eyes. Ridge feels like Quinn conned Eric into thinking she deserved to have her cake and eat it, too.
Ridge doesn’t like the fact that Quinn’s spending her nights with Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) while Eric is home alone.
However, not being alone is actually the point for Eric! It’s true that Eric has a little alone time while Quinn’s passionate desires are getting fulfilled, but it’s worth it to him.
Eric is still getting Quinn’s love and companionship out of this marriage, so he’s willing to make the sacrifice to have her around.
Of course, Eric’s making it sound like he just needs a warm body who cares about him.
Ridge may argue that there are plenty of other women who could offer companionship in Quinn’s place, but Eric will just want Ridge to get out.
B&B spoilers say Eric will stand his ground and insist Quinn is the one he wants. He’ll push Ridge to head for the exit and offer a reminder to butt out.
Eric won’t want Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) poking her nose in his business either, so he’ll hope Ridge and Brooke finally hear what he has to say.
Brooke has latched onto Katie as someone who can offer the support Eric needs, so she’ll count on her to deliver messages and make progress.
As for Eric, he’ll have to ask himself if wanting to avoid loneliness can sustain a marriage.
Eric is starting to understand his own motives for this reunion, so he’ll need to do some self-reflecting and try to make sense of his situation.
At the cabin, Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) will let John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) know she’s there anytime he needs to talk.
Finn just opened up to Hope about Sheila, so she’ll offer more support and promise to lend a sympathetic ear if other birth mom issues come up.
Once Finn is by himself, he’ll no doubt contemplate Sheila’s message and wonder if maybe he should text back.
There’s a good chance Finn will secretly send Sheila a reply, so he’ll put his marriage in jeopardy if he indeed makes that decision.
That’s not a good idea since Finn and Steffy’s marriage isn’t even legal yet, but the pull to Finn’s birth mother will remain strong.
