The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Monday, September 13, reveals that Eric Forrester (John McCook) left Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) and Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) to enjoy a hot night together while Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis) reflected on her dating failure.
At the Forrester mansion on Monday’s B&B episode, Carter was eager to leave so that Quinn and Eric could continue their romantic night together.
However, Eric insisted that Carter was part of the surprise and refused to let Quinn sacrifice the passionate part of her life. He wondered if he really had to spell it out for Carter and Quinn.
When Eric suggested he wanted to encourage Quinn and Carter’s connection, they were stunned. Eric maintained that just because that part of his life was over, that didn’t have to be the case for Quinn.
Although Quinn wanted to remain devoted to Eric, he felt that Carter could fulfill her in ways that he couldn’t.
Carter wasn’t keen on being a substitute for Quinn’s husband, but Eric kept trying to sell them both on the idea. He felt like Carter and Quinn could reconnect, but it wouldn’t have to be behind his back this time.
Quinn once again tried to nix the idea since she was willing to give up anything for Eric’s sake, but he didn’t want her to make that sacrifice.
Eric told Carter and Quinn the night was theirs if they wanted it, so they were left in shock as Eric exited.
At Forrester Creations, Donna opened up to Katie Logan (Heather Tom) and Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) about Eric being the guy she shouldn’t have let get away.
Although Donna had tried some dating sites, no one could compare to her “Honeybear.”
There was talk about how Donna used to really light Eric’s fire, but there wasn’t even smoke with Quinn.
Katie thought Donna was a better match for Eric – and Brooke suggested that Donna should make it known that she’ll be there for Eric when Quinn inevitably self-sabotages.
Despite Brooke’s claim that she wasn’t rooting for the end of Eric’s marriage, Katie disagreed.
However, Brooke tried to act like she was on board with what Eric truly wanted. Katie felt like Quinn was a lucky woman since Eric was so forgiving and had such a huge capacity for love.
At the cabin, Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) talked to Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) about eliminating so many sources of worry in his life – including Quinn since she was back with Eric.
After Wyatt talked about how deep Eric’s feelings ran, he suggested that Eric would do just about anything for Quinn.
Wyatt hinted about Quinn and Eric’s prior bedroom problems before discussing how Quinn, Carter and Eric were all still able to work together.
Since things seemed to be going well, Wyatt remained hopeful about any issues being put to rest.
