The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers for the next two weeks, August 16 through August 27, tease that Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) will deliver some alarming blackmail terms while John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) struggles with an impossible goal. We’ll also see a couple’s surprise reunion, so here’s what fans can expect.
During the week of August 16-20, Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) will face an emotional rollercoaster as he considers a public relationship with Quinn Fuller (Rena Sofer) – only to learn Eric Forrester (John McCook) wants to reunite with his wife.
Carter will say “I love you” to Quinn for the first time, so she’ll do the same and wonder if she should go back or forward in her love life.
Meanwhile, Finn will keep his texts to Sheila on the down low and try to figure out what he’s going to do next. He’ll hate disrespecting Steffy Forrester-Finnegan’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) wishes and lying to her, but he won’t know what else to do right now.
Paris Buckingham (Diamond White) will get updates on Finn’s decision to secretly text with Sheila. Finn will feel like Sheila might’ve truly turned over a new leaf, but he’ll get that Steffy may never believe it.
Paris will understand the tight spot Finn’s in, so she’ll promise his secret is safe with her.
Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) will think the only solution is to make certain Sheila’s forced to stay away, but it’s going to take a lot more than a restraining order to stop this devoted mom.
There’ll probably be some snag when it comes to getting one anyway, so Ridge may be out of luck.
Jack Finnegan (Ted King) will hope to enforce a ban of his own and will give Sheila a warning about steering clear of the people he loves.
However, B&B spoilers say a blackmail plot will begin – and there’s a good chance Sheila will be the one threatening to spill Jack’s secret if he doesn’t cooperate.
Sheila may have some demands – like scoring Jack’s support in convincing the Forresters she can be trusted.
Sheila will certainly want a visit with Hayes Forrester Finnegan soon as well. Jack may be backed into a corner if Sheila indeed has dirt on him.
Since Jack might be Finn’s biological father or at least know who the bio dad is, that could be what Sheila blackmails him with.
Whatever the case, it looks like Sheila will spell out her terms during the week of August 23-27 and leave Jack in an even tighter spot.
Back with Finn, part of him will hope that maybe he can bring Steffy and Sheila together. Finn may care less about what the Forresters think and more about what his new wife thinks.
If Finn can just win Steffy over or at least convince her to tolerate Sheila, he might feel like he can make this work.
However, Finn will soon see that Steffy isn’t going to budge an inch when it comes to Sheila and shutting her out permanently.
Any attempt for Steffy and Sheila to co-exist peacefully will prove impossible, so Finn will feel stuck.
Finally, a pair of exes will reconcile unexpectedly, so does that mean Quinn will choose to reunite with Eric?
That’s a good option to consider unless perhaps Eric turns to Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis) after Quinn’s rejection.
Nevertheless, it’s wise to mull over Quinn potentially putting her Carter romance aside to focus on her marriage again.
That’d put Quinn back at odds with Sheila and give her a common enemy with the Forresters, so there’d be some places to go with that story.
