The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) and Eric Forrester’s (John McCook) vow renewal could blow up if Quinn’s affair with officiant Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) is exposed at the ceremony.
Since Eric wants to make an effort with Quinn, it makes sense that he might propose the idea of renewing their vows.
Eric feels like he should show Quinn that he’s still committed to their marriage, so that’d be the perfect way to do it. B&B spoilers say Eric will make a decision about his relationship that he views as final.
It sounds like Eric will stand by his wife and accept that he has to fully move beyond the past.
Eric will be looking for a new beginning with Quinn, so he might view new vows to honor and cherish each other as helpful. Plus, Eric knows how hard Quinn has been trying to make things right. He’ll want to dote on his wife once he’s all in on their future, so he may think a vow renewal would please Quinn.
Of course, it would under normal circumstances! If Quinn had just been patient and never started cheating with Carter, she’d be tickled pink over Eric wanting to publicly declare their love and recommit again.
However, Quinn has now betrayed Eric with Carter repeatedly. Regardless of what happens between Carter and Quinn from here, the damage is done. Quinn may have permanently destroyed her chance at a real future with Eric, but that destruction can’t come until she gets caught!
Although Quinn will manage to keep her betrayal under wraps for a while, the truth has to come out eventually. There’s been a lot of talk about when Eric first got married – and he had that flashback of when Quinn first became Mrs. Forrester as well.
It’s easy to see how B&B might be laying the groundwork for a risky vow renewal and setting the stage for disaster. Carter is the go-to officiant for the Forrester family and a close friend of Eric’s.
If Eric wants to renew his vows with Quinn, you can bet he’ll ask Carter to perform the ceremony.
Can you imagine how awkward it would be for Carter to lead Quinn and Eric through this vow renewal – all while flashing back to his hot nights with the repeat bride?
This would be the ideal time for Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes) to find out Carter hooked up with Quinn and expose it in front of everyone.
