The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Shauna Fulton (Denise Richards) and Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis) could end up in a battle for Eric Forrester’s (John McCook) heart. Will they become new rivals and compete to replace Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) as Forrester queen?
B&B fans know Donna is Eric’s ex and remains a close friend. After Donna confides in Katie Logan (Heather Tom) that she’s still in love with Eric after all this time, it’ll set the stage for her to pursue him.
Donna will realize she has a chance with Eric once his marriage to Quinn falls apart at this vow renewal.
Of course, Donna will know she can’t rush this. Eric’s going to be devastated and will need time to heal before he jumps into another relationship.
However, Donna has proven she can be patient since she’s already been quietly pining. She can support Eric as a friend and take things to the next level with him once he’s ready for that step.
What Donna may not count on is having some competition in the comfort department. Shauna is another good friend of Eric’s – and they recently shared some sweet bonding scenes.
Despite Shauna’s involvement in this Quinn and Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) fiasco, Eric probably isn’t going to blame her.
Eric will hold Carter and Quinn responsible, but Quinn will have to take most of the blame as Eric’s wife and the one who made vows to love only him.
Shauna may find herself in the position to console Eric down the road. It could lead to Donna and Shauna getting caught in a competition to be the new Forrester matriarch.
Shauna would be throwing away her friendship with Quinn if she lets herself get caught up in her feelings for Eric, but the heart wants what it wants!
That’d definitely bring some soapy drama. Donna certainly wouldn’t want to let her own chance with Eric pass her by, so it could bring quite the feud with Shauna. We’ve got some great love triangle potential here, so check back for the latest updates and news.
