The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) could get jealous if Shauna Fulton (Denise Richards) truly falls for Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor). Some real sizzle could be brewing and bring the green-eyed monster out!
B&B fans can expect Shauna’s friendship with Quinn to be tested in the coming weeks. Of course, that hasn’t really happened yet since Shauna’s such a ride-or-die bestie.
Shauna was stunned and disappointed when she found out about Quinn’s betrayal with Carter, but she was mostly concerned for her friend. There was a sense of worry for Quinn’s marriage rather than judgement.
Even after Quinn admitted to nearly sleeping with Carter again, Shauna gave them both advice and pointed out she was in no position to judge. Quinn and Shauna’s friendship isn’t really being put to the test since she’s giving Quinn a pass here.
Not to mention Shauna dragged herself into the drama by picking up Quinn’s jacket and trying to act like it was her own. Shauna’s been doing whatever it takes to protect Quinn and throw Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes) off the trail.
So where will the friendship test come in? What could cause things to become strained between Shauna and Quinn? There are a couple of ways B&B writers could take this storyline.
One might be for Quinn to abuse Shauna’s kindness and sacrifice. Shauna’s willing to take the blame for Quinn, but the understanding is that Quinn’s going to stay away from Carter and focus on her marriage.
Now that Eric Forrester (John McCook) is fully embracing his future with Quinn, there’s going to be even more at stake.
If Quinn ends up sleeping with Carter again anyway and puts Shauna in another tough situation, that could leave Shauna pretty fed up. However, the more entertaining option might be for Shauna to fall for Carter herself!
Shauna is part of this story now, so she should get a boost of Carter-related airtime.
Carter has just recommitted to Zoe, but there’s always the possibility of a betrayal with Shauna. It might even be something that happens after the affair is exposed and Carter loses everything.
Could Carter land in bed with Shauna next – perhaps as he seeks comfort?
Quinn would no doubt be jealous, so this would be the perfect fit for that info about Shauna and Quinn’s friendship being tested. The green-eyed monster might come out and leave Quinn wishing she was still hooking up with Carter instead.
That’s especially true if this Shauna and Carter sizzle happens after Quinn’s lost Eric for good! Shauna might steal Quinn’s backup option and leave Quinn enraged.
