The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) may blackmail Jack Finnegan (Ted King) and deliver a disturbing ultimatum as part of her new plan. This birth mom will be looking for the upper hand in hopes of bonding with John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan), so she may view Jack as her ticket to making that happen.
B&B fans know Jack was in the loop on Sheila and her connection to the Forresters long before the latest round of drama went down.
Jack admitted that Sheila came to him when Finn was just a baby, but he never shared her identity with Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) or Finn.
Jack claimed he didn’t want to cause unnecessary stress and also that he wanted to protect his family, but is that reasonable enough explanation? Couldn’t Jack have come clean in over three decades?
It just seems like an awfully huge secret to keep when Jack could’ve at least admitted to Li that Finn’s birth mother was a dangerous woman who didn’t need to be in his life.
It’s strange and suspicious that Jack has worked so hard to keep any info at all out of Li and Finn’s hands for all these years.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Jack will confront Sheila during the week of August 16-20. Jack will warn Sheila to steer clear of Finn and the family he’s just married into.
Li should be off-limits as well, but Sheila may not think Jack’s in any position to be making demands.
We also know that Jack has more secrets that’ll be revealed over time. Then, we’ve got new spoilers for the week of August 23-27 about a blackmailer laying out some troubling terms in exchange for silence.
Sheila makes sense as the blackmailer since that’s certainly something she would do!
It also makes sense that Sheila might have some dirt on Jack that she could use to her advantage.
Perhaps Sheila will threaten to reveal Finn’s biological father if Jack doesn’t cooperate. She might push Jack to help her find a way to bond with Finn or at least stop actively trying to sabotage her.
There’s a chance Jack himself is the bio dad if he had an affair and just let Li believe this was a random adoption instead of a case where he took in his own child. Jack might be motivated to keep things quiet under those circumstances.
Of course, there’s also a chance that Finn’s biological father is just as bad as Sheila – and Jack might want that mystery link kept under wraps in that case, too.
Regardless, it seems likely that Sheila will realize she’s got some blackmail material she can use on Jack, so she may back him into a corner.
