The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) may attempt the impossible by seeking a second chance with Taylor Hayes (Hunter King) to win Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) over.
B&B fans know a great deal of Steffy’s hatred for John “Finn” Finnegan’s (Tanner Novlan) bio mom is rooted in what happened to her own mother. Steffy has told Finn plenty of horror stories about the awful things Sheila did to Taylor over the years.
Sheila’s treatment of Taylor is just too difficult for Steffy to get past. Steffy obviously still considers Sheila dangerous due to all the pain she inflicted on her family. It’s a matter of family safety and vengeful rage, so Sheila has a lot working against her here.
It doesn’t seem like there’s anything Sheila could say or do to change Steffy’s mind – at least on her own.
What Sheila needs is an ally who could sway Steffy and convince her to offer one more shot. If someone Steffy trusts gives her a push, that might make a difference in letting Finn bond with his birth mother.
Now let’s consider Sheila’s response to Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) pursuing a relationship with Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang).
From the get-go, Sheila shut down the idea that Deacon would ever make progress with Brooke. She remains skeptical despite Deacon’s belief that a romantic reunion with Brooke could happen.
Sheila is probably on the verge of changing her tune since Deacon seems poised to get back in Brooke’s bed.
If Deacon does what he set out to do and reunites with Brooke, Sheila may shift her strategy. She might start thinking that the impossible isn’t always so impossible after all!
After Taylor returns starting December 10, Sheila may realize the situation’s only going to get worse if she lets it.
Sheila might decide a mother’s support is everything to a daughter and work on winning Taylor over – then letting Taylor win over Steffy.
Sheila may hope that Taylor has mellowed and might be willing to start fresh. She could appeal to Taylor mother to mother and hope for support in her pursuit of a real connection with Finn.
Of course, there’s no guarantee Sheila could actually pull that tactic off. Unlike Deacon, Sheila may crash and burn when it comes to her own redemption plot.
Even so, Sheila’s current plan isn’t working, so she may try something new once Taylor comes to town – namely trying to get through to Taylor herself. Once Deacon conquers his own impossible goal, could that lead to Sheila tackling her own?
