The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) may blast hope for her betrayal. Steffy should be furious over John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) sharing Sheila Carter’s (Kimberling Brown) texts with Liam Spencer’s (Scott Clifton) wife, especially when he should be sharing them with his own!
Finn knows Steffy considers Sheila a serious threat to their family. Now that Finn has seen with his own eyes how Sheila disregards orders and just does what she wants, he really needs to open his eyes to the danger. Sheila’s obsession with Hayes Forrester Finnegan (Piper Harriot) is particularly concerning under the circumstances.
It’s easy to see why Steffy’s on edge, though we can’t blame Finn for his complicated feelings. Finn’s desire to know his birth mother is understandable, but that doesn’t mean it’s a good idea to keep Sheila’s communication a secret from Steffy.
B&B fans know Finn already got in trouble for hiding that emoji heart he sent Sheila, so Steffy certainly expects to be kept in the loop on any further communication. Finn’s likely going to make matters worse by responding to Sheila, so this is turning into a bad situation all around.
Of course, Finn told Hope about Sheila texting him and even read one of his birth mom’s messages aloud. His phone dinged with another text from Sheila later, but Hope kept quiet about what she knew.
Finn was grateful for that, but it seems like a mistake to use Hope as a confidant considering her history with Steffy and their lengthy battle over Liam. Steffy and Hope are finally in a good place since they’re past their Liam love triangle, but another war could be brewing.
Hope and Finn could easily ignite more conflict when Steffy learns her husband confided in her old rival – the woman who already won Liam’s heart. This could stir up insecurities about losing Finn or at least leave Steffy upset over the broken trust.
Finn should definitely get an earful, so the same goes for Hope since she’s helping Finn go against Steffy’s wishes and enabling his deception. You could argue it’s not Hope’s place to rat Finn out, but Steffy may feel like Hope should’ve told her the truth mother to mother or encouraged Finn to come clean himself.
Bottom line, B&B’s setting up the potential for more Hope and Steffy hostility to explode. As other news rolls in, we’ll deliver more updates.
