The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) could face a Hayes Forrester Finnegan custody battle. Will a feud break out over Finn and Steffy’s son after Grandma Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) destroys their family?
Steffy will make a painful decision that affects her marriage during the week of August 30-September 3.
Sadly, that decision may involve wiping out the marriage entirely. Since Steffy and Finn’s marriage certificate still hasn’t been filed, Steffy may choose to distance herself from Finn instead.
If no children were involved here, Steffy could no doubt handle herself and would take a bold stand against Sheila.
However, Steffy has to do what she feels is best for Hayes and even Kelly Spencer (Avalon and Collette Gray). She can’t have someone she views as a threat so close to her children.
After Steffy witnesses Sheila holding Hayes, she won’t think she can count on Finn to protect the kids any longer.
Hayes is particularly at risk since he’s Sheila’s grandson and one of her new obsessions along with Finn.
It’s easy to see why Steffy might go as far as starting a custody war to keep Hayes safe. If Finn’s going to let his guard down like this and allow Sheila to manipulate the situation, how can Steffy ever have peace of mind?
Steffy may feel like she has no choice but to push for full custody and try to keep Hayes away from Finn due to his Sheila connection.
There’s been talk about the Finnegans being uncomfortable with the Forresters’ power and influence in B&B spoilers, but that hasn’t played out so far.
Perhaps it’s still to come and will become a factor in some custody drama. The Forrester family will certainly have an upper hand due to all their money and connections, so that’s something to keep in mind.
Hayes could land at the center of a custody war thanks to the Sheila chaos, so we’ll see if that widens the looming rift between Finn and Steffy even further.
