The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) may have an awkward dinner party as she struggles to win over John “Finn” Finnegan’s (Tanner Novlan) mom and dad. B&B fans know Steffy’s excited to meet Finn’s parents, but he definitely doesn’t seem as on board with the idea.
The show will reveal more about Finn’s reasons why in the coming weeks, but let’s talk about the visit that’s looming and how it’ll go down.
Wedding plans will proceed without Steffy meeting Jack Finnegan (Ted King) and Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda), so Finn may convince Steffy that his parents are too busy or that there are too many issues.
Regardless, The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Jack will make a surprise appearance on July 30 just before the nuptials.
Li’s first appearance will follow on August 2, so some drama’s in the works. Whether the wedding moves forward right now or not, there’s bound to be some tension.
This obviously won’t be the ideal setting or way to meet Finn’s parents, but Steffy will be determined to prove she’s the perfect woman for their son.
Steffy will no doubt want to plan a gathering of some sort to get to know Li and Jack.
That could mean an intimate get-together at the cliff house with just Steffy, Finn, Jack and Li.
However, Steffy could bring the whole Forrester clan into this eventually and hope her family can get along with the Finnegans. There could be a somewhat bigger bash at the Forrester mansion at some point.
Whatever the case, an awkward dinner party is most likely brewing. It’s just tough to imagine any scenario where Steffy will be able to avoid one!
If Steffy’s going to get better acquainted with Finn’s parents, she needs a chance to do that.
Sitting down with Li and Jack to hopefully move past the tense vibe may be Steffy’s objective.
Finn should be caught in the middle of all this and will surely defend Steffy if his parents step out of line.
It’s clear that Finn’s new family with Steffy, Kelly Spencer (Avalon and Collette Gray) and Hayes Forrester Finnegan is what matters most to him, so he won’t let Jack and Li get in the way of their happiness.
