The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Steffy Forrester’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) bun in the oven will create a whole new wave of drama. B&B fans know Steffy delivered quite a shocker to Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) recently.
Liam was left dumbfounded after Steffy admitted she’s pregnant, so they’ll have to figure out how to proceed.
Steffy will adjust her tactics during the week of January 4-8 to buy herself some time. She won’t be ready for Liam to tell Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) what happened – and Steffy won’t be prepared to come clean to John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) either. Steffy will work some new angle to convince Liam to delay his plans.
However, Liam won’t allow this secret to be kept under wraps for long. Although Liam will drag his feet when the time comes, the hookup and pregnancy will eventually be exposed to Hope. Finn will also get updates on Steffy’s betrayal and the consequences it’s led to.
Steffy’s paternity mystery will intensify all the emotions involved and eventually force a DNA test. It’s that DNA test we want to concentrate on for a moment. Any longtime fan will tell you that paternity test results aren’t always the most reliable on soaps!
There’s a chance that Steffy’s DNA test will be tampered with, so the results that follow may not be accurate. The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Steffy will want the baby to be Finn’s, but how badly will she want it? Could Steffy decide to make sure the results swing to the “baby daddy” she prefers?
Let’s consider Steffy’s mindset going into all this. B&B fans can expect Steffy to express joy over the second child she’s expecting. Steffy won’t be sorry she’s having another kid despite the complex situation. This baby will be a blessing to Steffy, but she’ll understand this little one will change lives.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Steffy will know and accept that Liam has chosen Hope. That’s who Liam wants, so Steffy will feel like this would be a lot less complicated if Finn was her child’s father. It gives Steffy the best shot at keeping Finn and gives Liam the best shot at keeping Hope.
Liam really doesn’t need any more children anyway, so Steffy might resolve to make sure those DNA test results show Finn’s the father no matter what. It’s never that hard to rig a paternity test on a soap. If Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) can fake a terminal illness, Steffy can convince Finn this baby is his – even if it isn’t.
B&B writers seem determined to trash Steffy’s character lately with bad decisions, so we wouldn’t put it past them to take this story route. Do you think Steffy will find a way to alter the DNA results? If the baby belongs to Liam, will Steffy convince Finn he’s the father instead?
