The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that Taylor Hayes’ (Krista Allen) new portrayer supports Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) getting full custody of Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri). Krista Allen responded to Matthew Atkinson’s story idea, which came in the form of a rather blunt Instagram post.
Atkinson reposted an adorable pic of himself holding his TV son, Henry Joseph Samiri. He wanted to show off the sweet bond to fans, but he took things a step further by sharing some thoughts on storylines.
Atkinson certainly seems to think the show needs to let Thomas step up as more of a full-time father to Douglas! Let’s look at some questions Atkinson posed to viewers – and then we’ll talk about Allen’s supportive response.
“Who’s happy to see Douglas back in his dads arms? Who also thinks he should be back living with his actual father and not pawned off to our resident daycare? Who thinks Liam needs to focus on his own kids first?” Atkinson asked in his post.
The Bold and the Beautiful actor also weighed in on Hope Spencer’s (Annika Noelle) connection to Douglas and offered his opinion on Thomas’ love life.
It’s clear that Atkinson would like for Thomas to consider options beyond the walls of Forrester Creations.
“Who thinks Hope isn’t his actual mom and Thomas should open up his dating pool outside those he can hit with a pen from his desk at work? Too much? Don’t miss @boldandbeautifulcbs weekdays on CBS!”
That brings us to Krista Allen’s response to Matthew Atkinson’s story thoughts.
After posting a heart emoji, Allen suggested she’d be all for Thomas’ full-time father status. “Darling, it’s time you had full custody,” Allen said before adding a crying with laughter emoji.
Of course, Atkinson and Allen mostly seem to be having some fun, but there’s no denying that the character of Thomas deserves better treatment by the writers.
Some viewers really would like to see Thomas get full custody, so it’s worth mulling over the possibility.
Regardless, it’s nice to see Allen interacting with Atkinson since it suggests they’re getting to know each other and working together. B&B fans will be eager to see Taylor and Thomas’ onscreen reunion, so stay tuned!
