The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) may confront Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) about Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) and Grandpa Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan). Will Thomas threaten custody drama over the Deacon situation and how Douglas might be affected?
Thomas really has no room to talk since he’s overcome so many past struggles. If anyone should believe in second chances, it’s Thomas! He needs to be glad Hope has such a forgiving heart since he was an obsessed maniac once upon a time.
However, Thomas has expressed concern about Deacon and doesn’t understand why Hope would even want her criminal dad in her life.
Since Deacon’s going to be around the kids, there’s the potential for Thomas to do something he hasn’t really done before and lash out at his former obsession.
If Thomas can look Hope in the eye and actually fight with her, then it should prove that whatever spell he was under is broken.
Thomas wasn’t successful in scoring a shot with Paris Buckingham (Diamond White), but he at least had feelings for someone other than Hope.
B&B might build on that trend of making Thomas less obsessed with Hope by showing he’s willing to spar with her – at least when it comes to the son they’re co-parenting.
Deacon made a point to specifically mention Douglas during a recent speech about family. He hoped to get to know Douglas just like Beth Spencer.
In other words, Deacon was making it clear that he considers Douglas his grandchild as well. Blood makes no difference since Hope’s raising Douglas as her own.
Deacon’s desire to bond with Douglas no doubt means a lot to Hope, but Thomas may object and want her problematic dad kept at a distance.
Thomas’ previous attempt to buy a house fell through, but he’s back to house-hunting and may find another option soon. If so, Thomas might think it’s best if Douglas starts spending more time at his place and less time at the cabin around Deacon.
Even if this doesn’t become a formal custody issue, there could be some drama related to where Douglas should stay most often and who deserves to be around him. We’ll bring you updates as other B&B news comes in.
