The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) may have to make some difficult choices in the coming months. B&B fans know Thomas urged Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) to give Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) another chance.
Since Thomas believes Hope truly wants to work things out with Liam, he’s trying to do the right thing and prove he’s capable of putting Hope first.
Of course, Thomas may continue this trend after Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) receives her paternity test results. There’s a good chance those results will reveal that John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) isn’t a match and isn’t this baby’s father.
That’d make Liam the “babby daddy” instead based on the DNA proof.
Despite the disappointing news, Thomas may once again encourage Hope to sort through her relationship issues. He may feel like there’s a shot for Liam and Hope just like there’s a shot for Steffy and Finn. This would certainly line up with the mentality we’ve been seeing from Thomas lately.
Finn intends to stand by Steffy no matter what, so Thomas may see the potential for Hope to stand by Liam as well. We might see Thomas make another push for Hope to forgive Liam – and Hope just might take that advice initially.
Nevertheless, B&B writers are setting up a “Lope” split, though it’ll surely be temporary.
It doesn’t seem like Hope will be able to get past Steffy’s pregnancy if this is Liam’s baby. The paternity results are probably going to back up the idea that Steffy’s adding to her brood with Liam.
That could pave the way for Thomas to eventually ditch his efforts to fight for a “Lope” reunion. Thomas might finally see that this is his opportunity to reunite with Hope himself!
However, The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers point to outside forces affecting this storyline and making a mess of things. There’s definitely evidence that points in the direction of paternity test tampering – meaning Liam will probably look like the father even when he’s not.
Thomas may get his wish if Hope finally decides she wants him, but what happens after the potential paternity tampering is revealed? If Finn is eventually exposed as the true father, Thomas may lose his chance with Hope all over again.
Bottom line, Thomas’ Hope victory may be short-lived due to this apparent paternity test tampering situation. Even if Thomas is completely innocent in the matter, Liam and Hope may be destined to get back together.
B&B writers may be setting Hope and Liam up as the endgame couple, so poor Thomas may have more heartbreak in his future!
