The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) will have to live with the consequences of his choice. After Thomas became suspicious of Vinny Walker (Joe LoCicero), he couldn’t rest until he got to the bottom of what his friend had done.
Thomas refused to let it go, so he’s the reason that the truth about Steffy Forrester’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) “baby daddy” is coming out.
Vinny was frustrated with Thomas because he was trying to do his buddy a solid! He felt like Thomas should’ve just let him do this favor since it could’ve given Thomas a chance to be with Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle).
However, Thomas doesn’t want to be with Hope by manipulation or any kind of shady strategy any longer. Thomas values Hope’s happiness above all else and just proved it with his actions.
Of course, it’s possible B&B will explore Thomas and Hope as a legitimate couple now that Thomas is showing these changes. It’s also possible that Thomas will simply remain a friend and co-parent to Hope.
Hope recently admitted Liam was the only man she’d ever really loved, so the playing field isn’t level considering Thomas feels so deeply for Hope and only Hope. Thomas has put in the work to make himself a better man, so he’s someone who deserves a woman who will love him back completely.
Hope may not be that woman for Thomas, so we have to wonder if it might be time for him to get a new lady in his life. After all, it worked out well for B&B to bring John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) on the show for Steffy.
Now plenty of people are rooting for “Sinn” as a healthier option for Steffy. Finn isn’t constantly waffling and doesn’t bring the toxic baggage to the table that Liam does.
With Thomas, his old fixation on Hope taints “Thope” in a way. If Thomas gets together with Hope, there’s always going to be that obsessive side of him that could potentially come out.
It could ruin the progress Thomas has made as well as the friendship he’s built with Hope, so maybe he’d be better off with someone new – a clean slate to keep him on the right path.
That’s especially true since Hope’s always going to be drawn to Liam and perhaps can’t give Thomas her whole heart. The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Thomas will have to accept his fate – whatever that may be now that he’s made certain the truth about Steffy’s baby is out there.
If Hope chooses to get her marriage back on track, Thomas could potentially get together with a new love interest and break free from his old Hope obsession permanently.
