The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Thursday, July 1, reveals that Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) shut down Eric Forrester’s (John McCook) vows to Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) while Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) made a promise to Baby Hayes Finnegan.
Upstairs at the Forrester mansion, Quinn argued that if Paris Buckingham (Diamond White) knew what she was capable of, she’d be pledging her eternal silence to her right now.
Paris thought this was quite a shift considering Quinn was begging her to keep quiet on her knees not too long ago.
On Thursday’s B&B episode, Brooke continued listening as Quinn refused to let Paris sabotage her big day. She urged Paris to leave and suggested she’d tell the others that Paris was having stomach problems.
Quinn pushed Paris to take the back staircase down before sauntering out.
Once Quinn headed downstairs, Brooke confronted Paris and insisted she knew Quinn had a secret. She pushed Paris to tell her what it was for Eric’s sake. Brooke argued that Eric was about to be deceived and deserved to know.
“And so does my sister!” Paris blurted out. She admitted the secret was about Carter Walton’s (Lawrence Saint-Victor) affair.
Brooke was confused and pointed out that everyone already knew Carter slept with Shauna Fulton (Denise Richards).
However, Paris argued that the whole office knew a lie. She added that it didn’t go down the way everyone thought it did at all.
It slowly dawned on Brooke that Quinn was the one who had the affair, not Shauna. Paris nodded to confirm Brooke had guessed it correctly.
At the cliff house, Steffy finished giving birth to an adorable baby boy. Steffy and John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) held their son between them before they settled on the name Hayes, which was perfect after meeting him.
Finn said Steffy had no idea what she’d given him and offered his deep gratitude. Steffy knew Hayes was new to the world, but she promised that Mommy and Daddy would always be there to love and protect him.
At Forrester Creations, Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis) extended her support to Katie Logan (Heather Tom) while Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) was in prison, but she was distracted.
Katie knew this had to be about Eric and Quinn’s vow renewal, so Donna admitted she was always going to carry a little torch for Eric.
Katie understood and pointed out that they were magical together. Donna argued that they were just a bunch of memories now and didn’t want Quinn thinking she was after her man.
That said, Donna would be open to possibilities if Eric weren’t married. She suggested that if part of her was a little sad today, she would get over it. “If Eric wants this, I want this, OK?” Donna said as she cried.
Back at the Forrester mansion, Quinn joined Eric and the guests downstairs. She revealed that Paris and Brooke wouldn’t be attending after all.
Carter made a speech about overcoming mistakes and challenges. He was there to help Eric and Quinn keep their love story going, so he began leading them through their vows.
Carter asked Quinn if she’d continue to honor and cherish her commitment to only Eric as her husband. Although Carter exchanged an uncomfortable look with Quinn, she confirmed that she would.
Before Eric could do his vow portion, Brooke popped up to stop the ceremony. She said Eric needed to hear what she had to say before he recommitted himself to Quinn.
