The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Thursday, June 24, reveals that Justin Barber (Aaron D. Spears) became a vengeful Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) right in front of Thomas Forrester’s (Matthew Atkinson) eyes. Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) also suspected there was more to the story of Vinny Walker’s (Joe LoCicero) death, so here’s how it all went down on Thursday’s B&B episode.
At Forrester Creations, Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) talked to Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) about her visit to see Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle). Steffy suggested they were presenting a united front, but she was really worried about Liam.
Ridge seemed concerned about how much trouble Liam was in and hoped Bill would rot behind bars. When Brooke seemingly downplayed Bill’s actions, Ridge lashed out and argued that the stuff Bill did was pathological!
Ridge reminded Brooke that Bill once had him thrown out of a chopper. Steffy agreed that Liam and so many others were paying the price for Bill’s stupidity.
In the basement cage, Thomas felt this was insane. He wondered if Justin was just going to leave him there and leave Bill locked up along with Liam forever.
Justin admitted that based on the facts of the case without the added Vinny Walker (Joe LoCicero) evidence, Liam and Bill would be locked up for a very long time. Thomas reminded Justin that he had exonerating proof and demanded to know where he was.
Justin explained that it was a part of Spencer Publications where no one would find Thomas. He said Thomas might as well be at the bottom of the ocean and invited him to scream if he wanted.
Justin got agitated as he declared that he couldn’t let Thomas ruin things and had to act. He insisted this wasn’t personal – that it was all about “Dollar Bill.”
Although Justin started out as Bill’s friend and right-hand man, he felt Bill took advantage of their relationship for years. Justin suggested he was really Bill’s accomplice and enabler. He ranted about how he was Bill’s fixer and had to endure constant disrespect.
Justin hadn’t figured out what to do about Thomas yet, but he snapped that he wasn’t going anywhere. He added that Bill would stay exactly where he was, too. Thomas suggested that the video would only help Liam, but Justin argued there was no cover-up if there was no crime.
Thomas acknowledged that he hated Bill as well and called him a monster, but he didn’t think Justin was one. He pushed Justin to do the right thing and set Liam free.
Thomas noted that Liam was just as selfish and self-obsessed as his father, but he didn’t think Liam should be locked up for something he didn’t do.
Thomas pushed Justin to think about Liam’s kids, but Justin kept going on and on about Bill instead. He said he’d never have a chance for advancement at the company because he was too good at what he did – that he was “Dollar Bill’s” problem solver.
With Bill out of the way, Justin argued that Spencer Publications would need new leadership. Thomas pointed out that Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) was still there, but Justin scoffed about how he could handle Wyatt. He suggested Wyatt wasn’t “the brightest bulb.”
Thomas warned that Justin was letting Bill turn him into the same kind of man – someone who locked people in cages. Although Thomas was willing to pretend this never happened, Justin stood there lost in his own little world of Bill loathing.
In the prison yard, Bill told Liam that they had to keep it together and avoid jeopardizing their chances of getting out of there. Liam wondered if their release was even possible, but Bill argued that it was more than possible. He assured Liam that it was indeed going to happen.
Liam asked what the actual plan was, but Bill promised Justin would handle it – though he knew it was taking longer than either of them would like. Liam couldn’t stop thinking about the crazy coincidence of hitting Vinny that night and wondered what he was even doing out there.
Bill agreed it didn’t make sense, so he’d told Justin to have some private investigators look into it. Liam feared maybe prison was messing with his head, but he felt like there had to be more to the story and that someone out there could reveal it.
Bill talked about how important it was to make this defense an all-out attack, so he was counting on Justin to do his job! We’ll bring you updates as other B&B news comes in.
