The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Thursday, March 11, reveals that Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) and John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) got Vinny Walker (Joe LoCicero) to admit Finn was the father of Steffy Forrester’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) baby – not Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton).
Vinny felt like Thomas should’ve just left this alone since he was trying to do his friend a solid. Thomas could’ve had a great life with Hope as far as Vinny was concerned.
Thomas insisted that he didn’t want to get together with Hope like that. Vinny argued that he thought Finn would never know the truth and that it wouldn’t matter.
As Vinny realized he could get fired and go to prison, he began to freak out. Vinny shouted that he wasn’t going to jail and bolted for the door. That left Thomas and Finn to discuss the altered results.
Finn and Steffy had always felt that the baby was theirs, but Thomas was the one who questioned this and helped get to the bottom of Vinny’s actions. Finn couldn’t thank Thomas enough.
At Forrester Creations on Thursday’s B&B episode, Steffy knew her departure decision wasn’t what Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) wanted to hear. Ridge wondered when Steffy was planning to take Kelly Spencer (Avalon and Collette Gray) to Paris, so she admitted it was happening today.
That left Ridge even more upset, but Steffy felt distance was for the best.
Steffy understood that Finn loved her enough to be there for her as well as the baby. However, Steffy had to love Finn enough to let him go. She didn’t want to stick around and watch Finn twist himself in knots for her.
Ridge ranted about Steffy not telling Finn she was leaving and warned he’d be devastated. Steffy felt like Finn would be more devastated about her having her ex’s child.
After Steffy reiterated that she was doing this for Finn’s sake, she wished the outcome had been different. Steffy couldn’t give Ridge a firm timeframe of how long she’d be gone, but Ridge tried to put his own disapproval aside to support his daughter.
At the cabin, Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) talked about how unfair this was and wondered when she’d ever get the chance to just be happy with Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton).
Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) acknowledged that Liam and Hope had already been through so many challenges together.
Liam entered and said it was breaking his heart, too. This isn’t what Liam wanted, but he felt they could make it though this together if Hope will stay with him. Hope insisted that they don’t know what it’ll be like when the baby gets there.
Liam decided he should let them get back to mother-daughter time, but Hope felt like he should hear this, too. Brooke ultimately decided this was a conversation that Liam and Hope should have on their own, so she took off.
Hope confessed that she couldn’t give Liam an answer regarding their future. She knew Liam would step up and be a great dad again, but it hurt because it wouldn’t be theirs to share.
Liam pointed out that Hope had been an amazing stepmom to Kelly, but Hope noted that the circumstances were different this time.
Although Hope’s heart was torn by all her emotions, she suggested she did love Liam and want to keep their family together. That was good enough for Liam – at least for now.
Liam just wanted them to have the will to find the answers, even if they didn’t have them yet. Liam intended to do whatever it took to earn forgiveness, even if it was just patience. He made it clear that he’d never give up on Hope again.
After Liam left on Thursday’s Bold and the Beautiful episode, Hope stood there contemplating when Liam told her Steffy might be pregnant with his baby.
Suddenly, Thomas arrived and declared that something amazing had happened. He told a stunned Hope that wasn’t going to believe it.
At the cliff house, Steffy was somber as she got ready to leave for the airport. Steffy had some flashbacks of Finn, including some steamy ones. Back with Finn, he went to Forrester Creations and was taken aback when Ridge revealed that Steffy was leaving for Paris with Kelly.
Ridge admitted it was because of Finn and the baby she’s carrying.
Finn resolved to find Steffy before she boarded her flight and rushed out – leaving Ridge happy about this new development. At the cliff house, Finn ran up to Steffy with some incredible news.
Finn argued that he couldn’t let her go and suggested their future was going to be amazing. Since Steffy still wasn’t in the loop on the true paternity, she didn’t look very convinced.
