The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Thursday, March 18, reveals that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) were eager to tell Kelly Spencer (Avalon and Collette Gray) all their good news.
Steffy suggested there was one more thing to do to make it complete – and then removed the portrait of herself with Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) from the wall.
Later, Finn straightened the new pictures that had been hung up. There was a smaller one of Kelly with Steffy and Liam, but there the larger ones featuring Finn, Steffy and Kelly were the most eye-catching.
Steffy suggested that Finn’s place was great, but this was Kelly’s home. She wondered if Finn was sure about moving in, so Finn suggested he couldn’t wait to make a life there for their family.
Later, Kelly found out that Finn would be living there and learned Steffy was marrying him. When Steffy showed off her engagement ring, Kelly loved it. Finn suggested he’d never been a stepdad before, but he was eager to be a good one.
Kelly eventually learned that Finn would be the baby’s father and once again expressed her excitement.
At the cabin on Thursday’s B&B episode, Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) was hopeful that he could get his own family with Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) back on track. Hope wasn’t as certain since Liam still spent that night with Steffy.
Liam admitted that his caveman instincts took over before talk turned to Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson).
After Liam suggested that Thomas might’ve gotten Vinny Walker (Joe LoCicero) to talk the fall for him, Hope insisted Thomas was a hero. Liam ranted about Hope defending the man who helped keep Beth Spencer (River Davidson and Madeline Valdez) from them, but he ultimately shifted back to their relationship.
Hope wanted to know if Liam told Steffy that he still loved her that night, so Liam admitted to saying “something like that.” That sent Hope flying into a rage. Liam argued that Steffy was the mother of his child, but Hope fired back that she’s his wife and shared a daughter with him, too.
Although Hope still viewed Liam as a kind, generous man, she also felt he was someone who needed to be adored and that it comes at a price. Hope thought she’d feel better knowing Finn was the father, but she realized she was fooling herself.
After Hope indicated that she needed more time to work through all this, Liam when back to the topic of Thomas. He didn’t want Hope to confuse loyalty with obsession.
Liam suggested that maybe one of the reasons he was so vulnerable to Steffy was that Hope kept pulling Thomas back in.
Hope yelled that she gave Thomas another chance because she felt he had changed, so Liam wanted a chance of his own. Liam assured Hope that she was the one and fought to put his family back together.
At Forrester Creations, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) got off the phone and told Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) that Vinny was in custody. Ridge hoped that Vinny would be charged since messing with medical records is serious business.
On Thursday’s Bold and the Beautiful episode, Brooke remained concerned about Thomas’ feelings for Hope and the possibility that he might’ve had a hand in this. Thomas appeared and reassured Brooke that he would’ve stopped Vinny had he known.
When Thomas suggested he hoped Thomas and Hope could move on if that was possible, Brooke zeroed in on the “if” and asked if Thomas thought there was somebody better out there for Hope.
“You perhaps?” Brooke asked. Brooke was also curious whether Thomas felt Hope was the only woman for him.
Ridge felt like Brooke was putting words in Thomas’ mouth, but Thomas suggested it was no secret that he loved Hope. However, Thomas was adamant that Hope’s happiness was his priority. Once Thomas was alone later, he had flashbacks of Hope and looked deep in thought.
