The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers update for Thursday, March 18, teases that Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) will wrestle with her next move now that she knows the true paternity of Steffy Forrester’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) baby.
Once Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) came to grips with losing the father title, he felt like maybe it was a sign they could move past the night he betrayed Hope.
Liam believes this could be a new beginning and an opportunity to work toward healing. All Hope has to do is say yes and let Liam start earning her trust back. However, Hope just won’t be certain this marriage is what’s right for her anymore. As Liam pleads for one more chance, Hope will refuse to grant his wish.
It was a relief when Hope realized John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) is the true “baby daddy,” but reality is sinking in. That means Hope’s realizing it doesn’t change much in terms of how she views Liam.
There’s still a huge betrayal barrier standing in the way of a new chapter for Liam and Hope. Hope will have to decide if she’s willing to open her heart and truly give Liam a chance to prove himself. Unfortunately, things aren’t going to turn out the way Liam wants.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Hope will push for a separation next week, so Thursday’s cliffhanger might set that up since Friday and Monday’s episodes will be preempted for NCAA basketball coverage. Some heartbreak is in Liam’s future, so he’d better be prepared!
In the meantime, Steffy will have an amazing gift for Finn – one that’ll show him just how devoted she really is. B&B fans can expect a powerful gesture that’ll prove to Finn that Liam is in the rearview mirror. It’ll be a big moment that cements Finn and Steffy as a solid couple.
It seems likely Steffy will turn her attention to that portrait on the wall, which features Steffy and Liam during happier times.
Although Liam will always be connected to Steffy through Kelly Spencer (Avalon and Collette Gray), that doesn’t mean Steffy has to display a giant picture of herself with him for all to see.
Steffy may acknowledge that Finn is the most important man in her life now and deserves that front-and-center spot. That picture was supposedly for Kelly’s benefit anyway, so why not take it down and put it back up in Kelly’s room?
That’d be a great solution and would leave a spot on the wall for Steffy’s portrait with Finn.
Whatever the case, it makes sense for Steffy’s gesture to involve the infamous portrait. This would definitely be a move that Finn would appreciate since he’s glared at that picture on more than one occasion.
Look for Kelly to pop up in Thursday’s episode since Avalon and Collette Gray will be back on the scene. Will Kelly get updates on Finn becoming her stepdaddy?
Finn may enjoy a little more bonding time with Kelly and get confirmation that she’s cool with Mommy marrying again. Perhaps Kelly can even be the flower girl and express excitement over the upcoming wedding.
