The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Thursday, May 13, reveals that Shauna Fulton (Denise Richards) confessed her fake involvement with Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor). Meanwhile, Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) predicted Quinn Forrester’s (Rena Sofer) fate!
At the Forrester mansion, Brooke didn’t think it was all that impressive that hadn’t broken her marriage vows in the bedroom. Brooke argued that Quinn had risen to a life far beyond her days of “scrounging” in Vegas. She argued that cheating would put Quinn right back on the streets!
“So you’re saying that her faithfulness to me is calculation?” Eric Forrester (John McCook) asked. Brooke just meant that Eric shouldn’t open his heart to Quinn too soon. She added that there was no telling what Quinn might do.
Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) was distracted as he pondered Carter’s mystery woman. He couldn’t figure out why Carter wouldn’t have told him and didn’t understand why it would be a secret.
Ridge made a speech wondering why people sabotage what they want before Eric pointed out that everyone makes mistakes. He wanted to give Quinn a fair shake and felt it was time for something to change.
Ridge noted that Quinn wasn’t the easiest person to love, but he thought Eric was familiar with that territory due to his previous relationship with Stephanie Forrester (Susan Flannery).
Brooke insisted that Quinn was just a “watered-down version” of Stephanie and that she paled in comparison. “No offense,” Brooke added on the Thursday, May 13 episode of B&B.
Eric said there was none taken and agreed that Stephanie was one of a kind. Despite Quinn’s blunders, Eric felt the one thing she had in her favor was that she had never failed their vows. He insisted Quinn had always been faithful and committed to their marriage.
At Forrester Creations, Paris Buckingham (Diamond White) worried about Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes) during a conversation with Zende Forrester Dominguez (Delon de Metz).
Zende felt horrible for the role he played in Zoe and Carter’s split, but he assured Paris that whatever spark he had with Zoe was fully out. Zende wanted Paris to know he was looking at his future, so they exchanged smiles.
Although Zende felt Zoe truly loved Carter, Paris feared there was no longer hope for her sister’s desired reunion. Paris filled Zende in on Zoe asking Quinn for help before heading over to surprise Carter at his loft. Zende was surprised to learn that Carter had already moved on.
In the main office, Zoe insisted she saw that jacket in Carter’s bedroom. “You’ve been involved with Shauna?” Zoe asked Carter. Shauna piped up that they were all adults and pointed out that she was single – essentially defending this fake involvement.
Shauna also acknowledged that Zoe was no longer with Carter before confirming that she was the one with Carter.
Zoe wanted to know how long they’d been together and feared Carter had been sleeping with Shauna this whole time. She asked Quinn if she knew about this and demanded the truth, but Shauna assured Zoe that Quinn just now found out. Quinn backed Shauna up on that – and so did Carter.
Zoe asked if Shauna was sleeping with Carter while he was engaged, but she denied and left Zoe relieved. She was also glad to hear that Shauna and Carter weren’t in love. Zoe felt this meant she still had a chance with Carter.
As much as Zoe hated knowing he’d slept with another woman, she knew she brought it on herself. Zoe was determined to fix what she broke and admitted that for a split-second, she thought the jacket belonged to Quinn.
Zoe then added that it was impossible since Quinn wouldn’t sleep with the man she loves – all while acting like she was trying to help her fix her relationship.
After Zoe insisted that Quinn was a true friend, she declared that Quinn would never do anything like that. “Right, Quinn?” Zoe said – and Quinn looked more nervous than ever!
