The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Thursday, May 27, reveals that Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) made a doomed reunion party plan for Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) and Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) while Paris Buckingham (Diamond White) warned Shauna Fulton (Denise Richards) away.
At the cabin on Thursday’s episode, Hope knew Bill wanted them to take this time to think about the consequences of going to the cops, but she didn’t want to do that. Hope just wanted to enjoy this night with Liam.
Despite their best efforts, Liam suggested that they couldn’t just ignore what was hanging over them. He argued that they didn’t need 24 hours to know exactly what he had to do.
Liam couldn’t function as a father, husband or person with all the guilt. He felt the secret was already destroying his life and would continue to do so. First thing in the morning, Liam vowed to tell the cops everything he knew.
Hope admitted she didn’t want to lose Liam – and he didn’t want to lose her either. Liam suggested they had tonight, and no one could take that from them.
Since they knew what they were going to do, Liam felt they should just focus on making the most of every moment they had left. Liam argued that whatever happens, Hope was the love of his life. Hope returned the sentiment and felt she needed one more night with her husband.
After lovemaking on Thursday’s B&B episode, Hope reminded Liam that he was a good man – that what happened to Vinny Walker (Joe LoCicero) was an accident. She was keeping the faith that Liam would still be there since she needed him.
Liam promised that whether he was there or in a prison cell, he would always love Hope.
At Spencer Publications, Brooke stopped by and found out Bill had a bad day. Bill suggested she didn’t want to know, but Brooke insisted she did and pushed her ex to open up.
Brooke wondered if this was about Hope and Liam since she thought Bill should be thrilled that they’re back together. Bill admitted that he wanted to be, but he looked uneasy.
Brooke was confused, but Bill argued that he was just being cautious and hoped all the obstacles were behind “Lope.” When Brooke revealed that she wanted to play a little party as a reunion celebration for Liam and Hope, she asked if Bill had any objections.
Bill assured Brooke that he wanted Hope and Liam back together just as much as she did – maybe more.
At Forrester Creations, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) pointed out that the mystery woman Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) had hooked up with was Shauna Fulton (Denise Richards).
Ridge wondered how that hot romance started, but Carter said he wouldn’t call it “a hot romance.”
However, Ridge still want to know who made the first move. Carter downplayed what happened with Shauna as a brief fling and revealed that he was back together with Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes).
Ridge only wanted Carter’s happiness – and he felt the same about Eric Forrester (John McCook).
Carter grew concerned and wondered if Eric said something. “Is he upset with Quinn?” Carter asked nervously. Ridge talked about the issues Quinn and Eric faced before Eric decided to forgive his wife.
Carter had to head out, but Ridge teased him about working on that body of his before he left.
Meanwhile, Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) praised Shauna for thinking fast and claiming the jacket was her own. Shauna admitted to being thrown when Zoe later asked about how she got together with Carter, but Quinn thought Shauna handled it like a pro.
Shauna wasn’t judging Quinn, but she wondered how her bestie even let herself get in a jam like this. Quinn was determined to focus on Eric and their future together. As for Paris, she walked in and wanted Shauna to know something. “I’m watching you,” Paris warned.
Now that Carter and Zoe were back together, Paris wanted Shauna to stay away from them. Shauna insisted nothing would be going on – and then Quinn got Paris’ praise for helping fix things between Carter and Zoe.
Suddenly, Carter entered and looked unsettled. Paris brought up Zoe and hoped it was true that she was the woman Carter was meant to be with. After Paris left, Quinn made it clear to Carter that nothing could happen between them ever again.
Brooke found Ridge at the office and mentioned that she got a really strange feeling from Bill. She felt Bill had some genuine concerns about Hope and Liam. Back with Bill, he dwelled on the hit-and-run as flashbacks haunted him.
