The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Thursday, October 14, reveals that Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) said Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) failed the test – and Eric Forrester (John McCook) asked if his wife could leave Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) behind.
At Forrester Creations on Thursday’s B&B episode, Ridge announced he needed to talk to Quinn and didn’t care if it was a good time or not. Ridge felt like Quinn and Carter should’ve refused Eric’s arrangement and kept refusing.
Instead, Ridge thought Quinn failed the test and scoffed when she wouldn’t even deny her feelings for Carter.
Quinn insisted Eric knew he was committed to him and only him. She argued that their marriage worked and pointed out that Ridge was the one making Eric feel bad about himself.
After Quinn declared she was going home to her husband, Ridge headed over to Carter’s loft. He thought Carter seemed disappointed that Quinn wasn’t there to see him.
Carter assured Ridge that they never wanted to hurt Eric, but Ridge just couldn’t understand how Carter could agree to something like this. He felt like Quinn, Carter and Eric all knew it was wrong.
Carter refused to let Ridge unload on Quinn and didn’t think anyone was to blame here. However, Ridge insisted Carter was a grown man who didn’t have to go along with what Eric suggested.
Ridge thought Carter should’ve come to him about Eric’s ED and felt like Carter had fallen so far from the friend he used to be.
At the Forrester mansion, Katie Logan (Heather Tom) still had questions about Eric’s arrangement with Quinn and Carter.
Eric insisted Quinn wasn’t cheating and reminded Katie that he pushed the two of them to be together. Katie didn’t understand why, even after Eric tried to explain.
Although Eric and Quinn were sharing the same space, Katie wondered if they were sharing their love and plans for the future. She asked if deep down, Eric truly loved and trusted Quinn.
That’s when Quinn entered and mentioned Katie becoming a regular fixture around there. Eric pointed out that Katie was welcome anytime, but Quinn could only imagine what Katie was saying about her.
Katie insisted she only wanted Eric’s happiness and asked if Quinn could say the same. Quinn acted like no one wanted Eric’s happiness more than her and pushed Katie to leave.
Afterward, Quinn assumed Katie had been telling Eric what a horrible person she was. Eric countered that he didn’t let anyone talk about Quinn that way, but Quinn pointed out Ridge had been giving her an earful at the office.
Quinn hoped that their marriage wasn’t damaged due to everything that had gone down. She was frustrated over being treated like the bad guy – though she was used to it by now.
Eric understood the situation was difficult and acknowledged that Quinn had a powerful connection to Carter.
Quinn piped up that she had a powerful connection to Eric as well. That led Eric to wonder if being his wife could be enough for Quinn. “Could that be enough for you to leave you feelings for Carter behind?” Eric asked.
Quinn insisted that her feelings for Eric were all that ever mattered to her. She felt like no one understood how much being Eric’s wife truly meant. It was the greatest gift Quinn had ever received – and she cherished every moment they’d spend together.
Quinn said she didn’t take any of it for granted and pulled Eric into a warm embrace, but he pensively looked at Quinn’s portrait.
Next, Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) pushed Paris Buckingham (Diamond White) to stay since she already e-signed the sublet agreement. Paris didn’t want to kick Thomas out of his own place, so they debated who would stick around.
Paris finally argued that she’d only stay if Thomas would do the same. She pointed out there were two bedrooms and that Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) was already familiar with the apartment.
Thomas relented since he was a pretty great roommate – though he made it clear this would be very temporary. Thomas promised to find a new place soon, but he thought it’d be nice to have some company in the meantime.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Thomas and Paris’ agreement could lead them into tempting territory, so don’t miss what’s ahead.
