The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers for Thursday, September 2, tease that John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) will fear he now has no future with Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood). Meanwhile, Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) will have a sad realization and struggle with steamy memories of Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer).
B&B fans know Steffy refused to file their marriage certificate at the courthouse, which left Finn stunned and brokenhearted.
Steffy wasn’t saying she’d never finalize the marriage, but she doesn’t feel like she can do it with Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) still out there – just waiting to wreak more havoc and resort to more manipulation.
Now that Finn’s broken that news to Paris Buckingham (Diamond White), she’ll be ready to offer more comfort and a promise that she’s in his corner.
Paris won’t see how Steffy can just shut Finn out like this, but he’ll keep blaming himself and will worry the marriage might never become official at all.
Finn has no way of predicting what Sheila will do – and he can’t control how Steffy feels about the risky situation.
It’ll just feel like an impossible mess, so Finn will worry that his future with Steffy might be over.
Of course, Paris will push Finn to stop all the negative talk.
Paris will want to lift Finn’s spirits and give him hope, so Finn will be drawn to Paris as a light in his life right now. Finn and Paris should be headed into dangerous territory if they keep this up.
In the meantime, Carter will force himself to face the truth. He’ll realize he has to find a way to say goodbye to Quinn in his heart.
Carter and Quinn have said their farewells to each other, but this is about Carter’s need to let go of anything he’s holding onto deep inside.
After Carter realizes his romance has to stay behind him, he’ll have some passionate flashbacks and try to find some closure.
It won’t be long until Carter closes the door on this chapter – or so he thinks!
Things are never that simple on a soap, so Carter and Quinn actually have a new chapter coming up that’ll be quite complicated.
