The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Thursday, September 2, reveals that Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) confessed Eric Forrester’s (John McCook) ED to Shauna Fulton (Denise Richards) – and Paris Buckingham (Diamond White) said she thought Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) was overreacting.
At Forrester Creations on Thursday’s B&B Episode, Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) assured Quinn that although he missed her, he was happy for her, too. Carter couldn’t imagine how it must feel to be back in her husband’s arms, but Quinn remembered Eric Forrester’s (John McCook) erectile dysfunction confession.
Carter sensed that something was wrong and suspected maybe Quinn was facing an adjustment period with Eric. He felt Quinn should give it time since Eric was a big old teddy bear deep down, but he got the feeling that his pep talk wasn’t helping.
Moments later, Shauna walked in and asked if she was interrupting something. Quinn said not at all, so Shauna wondered why Quinn and Carter were behind closed doors. She worried anyone could walk in and misinterpret things.
“For crying out loud, Shauna. What are you? The door police?” Quinn asked. She assured Shauna that the encounter was innocent and suggested Shauna made things weird by being a naturally suspicious human being.
While Carter was off making calls, Shauna pointed out that something was weighing heavily on Quinn. She pushed Quinn to tell her what was going on. Quinn was glad to be back together with a wonderful man like Eric since it was all she ever wanted, but she averted her eyes when Shauna brought up the bedroom.
Shauna suspected Eric still didn’t want to be with Quinn, but Quinn said that wasn’t the case. “He can’t,” Quinn admitted. She hesitated before explaining that Eric couldn’t be her husband in every way like he wanted to.
Quinn clarified that Eric couldn’t get aroused anymore – that he had ED and might never be able to make love to her again.
Elsewhere, Carter gazed at some fashion photos of Quinn and looked distraught as he thought back on their passionate memories together.
At the cliff house, Steffy admitted to Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) that her marriage wasn’t official and she wasn’t sure she wanted it to be – not yet. “I can’t do it,” Steffy said, though part of her worried she was being unfair considering how much Finn had been there for her.
Ridge assured Steffy that it was fine for her to need space and felt they had to stay on guard. Although Finn didn’t go looking for his birth mother, Sheila found him instead – and that was a reason to be concerned.
Ridge said Finn would have to respect that they didn’t want Sheila around since forgiving her wasn’t an option.
Nevertheless, Ridge felt confident Steffy and Finn would get through this as a strong couple. Steffy teared up and agreed she wouldn’t let anything come between them before she embraced Ridge.
At the guest house, Finn was sorry for dumping all his problems on Paris and thought she was a good friend. Paris asked if as a friend, she got an opinion on this situation. Finn expected Paris to say he was wrong for letting Sheila in the house, but she actually suggested Steffy was overreacting.
Although Paris wasn’t trying to bash Steffy, she felt like Steffy’s shock led to the tension. Paris said Steffy would start thinking clearly again soon, but Finn worried that look of horror would always be in Steffy’s eyes.
However, Paris assured Finn that Steffy loved him and thought it was only human for Finn to be drawn to his birth mom. Paris added that Finn had been by Steffy’s side through some tough times, so she thought maybe it was time for Steffy to do the same – that they should be working through this together.
“It’s not right of her to punish you,” Paris said. She told Finn that he didn’t deserve it and once again insisted he shouldn’t be blamed. Finn was grateful for all the support, so Paris admitted she was impressed by him as a healer, devoted dad and someone who treated Steffy like a queen.
Paris found it hard to believe that Steffy didn’t race down to the courthouse to make the marriage official. She felt Steffy had to realize how lucky she was to be married to such an incredible guy.
