The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers update for Thursday, September 30, teases that Eric Forrester (John McCook) will confirm Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) and Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) are telling the truth. Eric will warn Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) to back off and try to fix this giant mess, but things are going to get worse before they get better.
At Carter’s loft on Thursday’s B&B episode, he’ll help Quinn as they try to explain the whole story to Ridge and Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang).
However, Quinn doesn’t have the greatest track record and already got caught cheating with Carter before. That’ll leave Ridge skeptical when Carter and Quinn try to explain the terms of their deal with Eric.
Brooke should doubt Quinn and Carter’s claims as well. From where Ridge and Brooke are standing, it’ll seem like the cheaters just don’t want to admit they sank low enough to betray Eric again.
Of course, there’s one way to settle this dispute – and that’s by taking Justin Barber’s (Aaron D. Spears) discovery to Eric himself.
That’s exactly what Ridge will decide to do, but Quinn won’t be far behind since she’ll want to help minimize the damage somehow.
In the meantime, Eric will offer Katie Logan (Heather Tom) some clarity when it comes to the separate life Quinn seems to be living. Eric will explain that it was his ED that drove Quinn to fulfill her needs elsewhere in the first place.
After Eric takes the blame for his marriage problems, he’ll talk about how badly he wanted to keep Quinn satisfied.
That led to Eric’s idea of letting Carter fulfill Quinn in the bedroom, so Katie will reel over this shocking arrangement.
Eric will act like they’re all content with this decision, but Katie may not be certain that’s true.
Since Eric’s been so distant and down in the dumps, Katie might argue there needs to be a better solution.
Soon after, Ridge will go to Eric and accuse Quinn of betraying Eric again.
Both Eric and Quinn will be in the room when these accusations fly, so they’ll be able to explain together – though Ridge will really only be interested in Eric’s side of all this.
Eric will confirm that everything Carter and Quinn have been saying is legit, so Ridge will be baffled over Eric making this sacrifice to keep Quinn happy.
Ridge will probably rant about it being unfair, but Eric will once again push Ridge to mind his own business – and the same goes for Brooke!
