The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Tuesday, April 27, reveals that Donna Logan (Jennfer Gareis) made sure Eric Forrester (John McCook) was all set for his overnight business trip.
At Forrester Creations, Donna checked to see if Eric had packed his sleep mask since she knew he couldn’t sleep without it. Eric reflected on how Donna got him addicted to that back when they were married.
Eric noted that it was a quick trip, so no one would miss him. Donna figured Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) would miss Eric and thought back on her own marriage to him. Donna insisted she would always miss having her “Honey Bear” in bed next to her.
After Eric mentioned that he’d already said goodbye to Quinn, he called her his “current wife” and left Donna wondering if she should read something into that.
Meanwhile, Quinn worried that her days as Mrs. Eric Forrester may be numbered, but Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) didn’t think she would become Eric’s “ex-wife number whatever.”
Quinn reflected on how Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) would love for her to be out of Eric’s life – especially Brooke.
Quinn understood that she gave Brooke a lot of leverage, but she found the double standard unfair. All Brooke had to do was turn on the waterworks to be forgiven, but Quinn thought she was forced to atone for far longer.
Quinn feared she might’ve lost Eric forever, but Carter advised her to be patient and try to win Eric’s trust back. After Quinn joked about how much she owed Carter for the marriage counseling session, he insisted he was rooting for Quinn and Eric.
Quinn suggested she was rooting for Carter and Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes), too.
After Quinn went to say goodbye to Eric again, she glared as she caught Donna straightening Eric’s tie. It was a cozy moment that Quinn shut down quickly by sending Donna off to give a courier a signature. That gave Quinn a chance to tell Eric she missed him.
Quinn expressed hope that they could try to get closer again when he returns, but Eric argued that he wasn’t ready for that. After Quinn called out to tell Eric she loved him, Eric smiled sadly and exited in silence.
At the cabin, Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) was so grateful to Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) for letting him move back in. He felt like this was a lifeline and was eager to give Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) updates.
After Liam left on Tuesday’s episode of B&B, Brooke showed up and found out Hope had decided to let Liam move in again. She was delighted over the idea of Hope forgiving Liam and putting her family back together, but she wanted to make sure Hope was ready.
Hope felt like seeing Liam struggling made her realize how much they needed each other.
In Bill’s office on Tuesday’s Bold and the Beautiful episode, he got defensive as Deputy Chief Bradley Baker (Dan Martin) questioned him about Liam.
Bill objected to Baker pointing fingers over a low-life drug dealer, but Baker insisted they were looking into everyone with a motive – and right now, Baker wanted to know about Liam.
After Baker pointed out that Bill said Liam took a personal day, Bill asked if Baker wanted to read something into that, too. Baker asked if he should, so Bill thought Baker was trying to bait him.
Bill contended that this was either a drug deal gone wrong, a hit-and-run or both. Baker brought up the paternity test angle and thought Liam must’ve been downright furious.
“Are you asking me if Liam was furious enough to kill Vinny?” Bill wondered. Since Bill was Liam’s father and someone who knew Liam better than anyone, Baker wanted Bill’s opinion.
Bill argued that Deputy Chief Baker was being ridiculous. He insisted Liam wasn’t someone who got livid or mowed down people over something like this.
Suddenly, Liam burst in to tell Bill that Hope had forgiven him. He looked stunned as Baker stepped forward and said that sounded like great news.
Baker wanted to ask Liam a few questions about the murder of Vincent Walker, but Bill said they’d already covered the absurdity of Liam being a murderer.
However, Baker insisted Bill’s son could speak for himself. He brought up all the paternity drama and how it affected Liam’s marriage before asking if it ever crossed Liam’s mind to kill Vinny.
Despite Bill’s best efforts to shut things down, Baker kept at it. He asked Liam if he murdered Vincent Walker, so Bill piped up to make sure Liam would stay in line. “Of course he didn’t murder the guy! Tell him, Liam! Tell him!” Bill declared on Tuesday’s episode of The Bold and the Beautiful, April 27.
