The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers for Tuesday, August 24, tease that Eric Forrester (John McCook) will confess a buried truth to Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) while Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) unloads her Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) fears on Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle).
For starters, let’s talk about Eric and his decision to feign sleep to avoid joining Quinn in the bedroom.
Eric was seemingly enthusiastic about reuniting with his wife, so why was he so somber and intent on delaying the steamy next step?
It looks like Eric’s about to reveal the reason behind it, so Quinn will be all ears in Tuesday’s B&B episode. The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Eric will admit a secret he’s been keeping for quite some time.
That could mean Eric has some health issues that prevent him from performing his husbandly duties whenever the mood strikes, but this could also relate to some insecurities Eric’s been pushing down.
Eric is older than Quinn – and certainly quite a bit older than Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor).
The fact that Quinn has now been with a younger hottie like Carter could add to the insecurities that were already there before.
Whatever the case, Eric will open up to Quinn about something he’s been wrestling with for a while and should get some reassurance in return.
This could make Quinn feel closer to Eric as they try to get their marriage fully back on track.
Next, Steffy will confide how terrified she is that Sheila will pull something while she’s on her business trip with Hope.
Steffy and Hope will head to San Francisco for a meeting, but it’ll be tough for Steffy to stop fretting over Sheila and the threat she poses.
Hope may push Steffy to trust John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) and believe he can protect their family just like he vowed to.
Even so, Steffy will have a nagging feeling that more trouble’s on the horizon – and she’s right since Jack Finnegan (Ted King) will try to get Finn on board with Sheila’s deal soon.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Sheila will make a mess of Finn and Steffy’s marriage in the coming episodes, so stay tuned!
