The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers for Tuesday, August 31, tease that John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) will lean on Paris Buckingham (Diamond White) during his marriage crisis – and Steffy Forrester’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) news will leave Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) enraged.
After Paris crosses paths with Finn and gets updates on the latest Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) drama, she’ll wonder what she can do to help.
Paris will hate to see Finn suffering and will certainly be willing to lend a non-judgmental ear.
Finn will appreciate the support, so he’ll confide his complicated feelings about his birth mom and the visit that went horribly wrong.
Of course, Finn will also talk about how betrayed Steffy feels and wish he could somehow make things right.
B&B spoilers say Paris will give Finn a pep talk and insist she understands his perspective.
This will bring a chance for Paris and Finn to grow closer, which can only lead to more trouble in Finn and Steffy’s already strained relationship!
In the meantime, Ridge will blow his top once Steffy explains what Finn did. Finn allowed Sheila to hold Hayes Forrester Finnegan, so Ridge will deem that unacceptable for any reason.
He’ll get why Steffy can’t even look at Finn right now and will rant about the danger his grandson was in.
It looks like Steffy will defend Finn somewhat since he wasn’t around to experience Sheila’s terror for himself.
It’s a little different just hearing about it years later – particularly when there’s a blood tie that makes Finn want to believe Sheila might’ve changed for the better.
Ridge, on the other hand, will think Finn knows exactly who Sheila is since they’ve recapped the horror show for him.
Ridge won’t like the fact that Finn chose to ignore Steffy’s wishes and break his promise to protect their family.
Ridge will think Steffy and the kids have to come first, so he’ll be upset over Finn not trusting their judgment when it comes to Sheila.
Of course, Finn got caught up in a complicated situation – and plenty of pressure was put on him by both Sheila and Jack Finnegan (Ted King).
This wasn’t entirely Finn’s fault, but Ridge will put a great deal of blame on him since it was Finn’s responsibility to be loyal to Steffy.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Steffy and Finn will face even more bumps in the road, so stick with the CBS soap.
