The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Tuesday, August 31, teases that Paris Buckingham (Diamond White) and shirtless John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) did some private bonding while Eric Forrester (John McCook) felt Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) was trapped without true marriage fulfillment.
At the cliff house on Tuesday’s B&B episode, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) showed up and found out Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) bailed on her trip.
They discussed Quinn and Eric’s unfortunate reunion before talk turned to Finn staying at the guest house.
Steffy admitted Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) was there holding Hayes Forrester Finnegan when she walked in.
A stunned and outraged Ridge wondered where Finn was when this happened, so Steffy admitted that he allowed it.
Ridge fumed over Finn dismissing their warnings and learned Jack Finnegan (Ted King) was present for this Sheila visit as well.
After Ridge voiced his distrust of Jack, he circled back to Finn and how his job was to protect his family.
Steffy knew Finn hadn’t done anything to cause intentional harm, but she remained upset since her child could’ve been kidnapped. She was still struggling to deal with Finn and Hayes’ connection to Sheila.
Steffy admitted she didn’t know what to do and felt like she was losing her mind, so Ridge offered comfort.
When Paris found shirtless Finn in the guest house, she pushed for updates on his argument with Steffy.
Finn confessed how he betrayed Steffy’s trust and allowed Sheila to hold Hayes.
Although Paris understood Steffy’s anger, she didn’t think Finn should beat himself up for what went down. Paris got why Finn would be drawn to Sheila as his mysterious birth mother.
Finn just wished he’d pushed Sheila to leave instead of surrendering like he did. He hated disappointing Steffy, who couldn’t even look at him when they last parted ways.
At the Forrester mansion, Quinn was hopeful about having a breakthrough tonight. However, Eric mentioned how he’d sought help from doctors and couldn’t see a solution in sight.
Quinn still thought they could give things a try and just take it slow without any expectations.
Eric kissed Quinn before pulling back and arguing that he couldn’t fulfill her.
Eric felt he was trapping Quinn by denying her that part of the marriage and urged her to go, but Quinn offered reassurance. As Quinn went in for a hug, Eric told her he was so sorry.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Quinn and Eric’s marriage should be under more strain soon, so stay tuned.
