The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers update for Tuesday, August 31, teases that Paris Buckingham (Diamond White) will side with John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) over Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) – and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) will blow up over Sheila Carter’s (Kimberlin Brown) visit.
First on Tuesday’s B&B episode, Finn will be feeling awfully low when Paris comes along to console him.
Paris will learn why Finn let Sheila hold Hayes Forrester Finnegan and won’t blame him considering how it all went down. Although Paris will get why Steffy was upset, she’ll still be in Finn’s corner on this.
Paris may argue that Finn was emotionally vulnerable and under intense pressure to do what both Sheila and Jack Finnegan (Ted King) asked of him.
Finn will confide how torn he is about his birth mother since he feels drawn to her while the Forresters hate her guts. It’s a complex situation that Paris will understand due to her own imprisoned father, Reese Buckingham (Wayne Brady).
Finn will feel like he screwed up big time with Steffy and won’t know how to fix it, but Paris will no doubt push him to stay optimistic.
Paris may insist she has hope for Finn and Steffy’s future, but there’s no denying that Paris has a crush of her own!
Paris’ feelings for Finn are going to grow stronger in the coming episodes, so that could pile on the problems in Finn’s relationship with Steffy.
Until then, Steffy will open up to Ridge about how she came home to find Sheila holding Hayes.
That shocker will leave Ridge fuming – and he’ll definitely put a ton of blame on Finn.
Ridge will insist that Finn should’ve known better and put Hayes as well as Steffy first. He’ll be on the same page as Steffy when it comes to just how dangerous this visit was.
Part of Steffy will want to cut Finn a little slack since Sheila’s so manipulative, but another part of her will remain hurt over his disloyalty.
You can bet Ridge will want to blast Finn himself eventually, so Finn had better be prepared for more backlash. We’ll deliver updates as other B&B news becomes available.
