The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Tuesday, July 27, reveals that Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) planned to call John “Finn” Finnegan’s (Tanner Novlan) parents after Steffy Forrester’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) big decision. Meanwhile, Paris Buckingham (Diamond White) grew closer to Steffy’s fiancé, so here’s how things played out on Tuesday’s B&B episode.
At home, Finn cradled Hayes Forrester Finnegan in his arms while Steffy Kelly Spencer (Avalon and Collette Gray) off to the zoo with the nanny.
Steffy teased Finn about his dad jokes again before he gushed to Hayes about how wonderful his mother was.
Although Finn knew Steffy wanted more time to plan the wedding, he proposed a pact with Hayes. Finn told his son that if they stuck together, he had a feeling they could make it happen real soon.
After Steffy realized Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis) gave her wrong numbers, she was frustrated since the computer system was down for maintenance. This would require a trip to the office.
Since Finn took the day off and had to make a diaper run, he was happy to run by Forrester Creations for Steffy.
Finn crossed paths with Ridge on his way out, which led to Ridge and Steffy talking about what a great guy he was.
While Finn was gone, Ridge acknowledged that he didn’t know anything about him. Steffy felt like her life with Finn had come together quickly, but she couldn’t imagine being without him.
Steffy admitted that Finn adorably wanted to get married at the cliff house with Hayes as their witness, but she turned him down.
Steffy felt like they already had a lot going on right now. Plus, she had witnessed everything that had gone down with Ridge, Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Taylor Hayes (Hunter Tylo).
Steffy confessed that Finn asked if she still had feelings for Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton), so Ridge wondered what her answer was.
Although Steffy insisted she’d always be connected to Kelly’s father, she assured Ridge that Liam was happy with Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle). Steffy was happy with Finn as well and thought it was nice to be off that whole rollercoaster.
That said, Steffy wasn’t sure she needed a piece of paper to validate them as husband and wife. She thought maybe they should keep things how they are, but Ridge seemed to think he was missing something.
At Forrester Creations, Zende Forrester Dominguez (Delon de Metz) seemed uneasy before he finally spilled what was on his mind.
Although Zende was attracted to Paris and loved how positive she was, he pointed out they were coworkers. Zende didn’t want to jeopardize their careers and felt they should be careful.
Paris understood, especially now that she didn’t have family in Los Angeles. She didn’t want to lose Zende and agreed with him about taking things a bit slower.
Paris thought it might make them tighter in some ways, so Zende suggested it was settled – they’d take things one day at a time.
Zende pulled Paris into a hug as they reached their agreement. He hoped Paris didn’t feel like he’d led her on, but she knew Zende wasn’t the kind of guy to do that.
Zende praised Paris for being gorgeous, smart, caring and creative before Finn interrupted.
Finn explained he was there to pick up the right quarter’s numbers for Steffy, so Zende offered to go grab them.
Finn also praised Finn for getting Paris to move in and joked about Finn gaining a built-in babysitter before leaving the room.
Finn assured Paris that he knew Zende was kidding and reminded her that she was welcome to stay as long as she needed.
Paris thought Steffy and Finn were such special people. She insisted it was easy to see why they worked so well together since they were so attentive.
“Steffy’s my wife,” Finn said before catching himself. “Or Steffy’s the mother of my child. I’ll always be there for her.”
Paris didn’t want to overstep, but Finn suggested it’d be impossible to keep secrets now that they were all living together – not that he had any.
Whatever Paris wanted to know, Finn encouraged her to feel free to ask.
Paris said it was more of an observation and talked about how committed Finn was to his family with Steffy.
Paris thought Finn was good at taking care of people and praised his diaper-changing skills, too. Paris thought it was lucky that Finn and Steffy found each other.
Back with Ridge, he admitted he was with Finn on the marriage issue. Ridge understood why Finn was eager to lock it down since he’d found the right person – and so had Steffy.
Ridge was sorry he hadn’t been a better role model when it came to marriage, but Steffy offered reassurance.
After Ridge pointed out that Steffy’s heart wasn’t torn, he suggested it wasn’t a matter of if she wanted to marry Finn. It was just a question of when.
Ridge wondered if Finn was upset about his impromptu wedding idea being turned down, so Steffy insisted that wasn’t her intention.
Like Ridge, Steffy wanted to know Finn’s parents and learn more about where he came from. However, Steffy admitted she’d hate it if Finn was feeling rejected.
The more Steffy thought about it, the more she felt like she didn’t want to hold off on this marriage.
“Finn is my person! Why wait?” Steffy said excitedly. She wanted to be with Finn forever and always.
Steffy wanted to talk to Finn about this, but she thought maybe Ridge should go ahead and let Taylor know about the wedding.
Ridge said he should call Finn’s parents as well, so Steffy pointed out Finn would be lucky to be marrying into her family – just like she’d be lucky to be marrying into his.
Ridge embraced Steffy, who promised she had no doubts or reservations. They just had to nail down when the wedding would happen, so Ridge asked when Steffy was getting married.
