The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers for Tuesday, March 23, tease that Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) and Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) will both find themselves needing some advice.
Before we get to the guidance Liam and Hope will receive, we should point out that a couple of preemptions are on the way due to NCAA March Madness basketball coverage.
B&B fans can expect the show to be preempted on Friday, March 19 – and then there’ll be one more preemption on Monday, March 22. Fortunately, The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say things will get back on schedule this Tuesday, so let’s look at what’s in store.
For starters, Liam will feel like he’s drowning in guilt. B&B viewers know Liam screwed up big time by assuming the worst of Hope when he thought he caught her kissing Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson).
That assumption led Thomas to sleep with Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) – and even the recent paternity reversal didn’t do enough to undo the damage.
Liam may find himself wishing he’d handled things differently in the aftermath as well. When B&B last left off, Liam actually had the nerve to blame Hope for his cheating – at least in a roundabout way.
Liam argued that perhaps he wouldn’t have been so vulnerable to Steffy if Hope hadn’t been so willing to pull Thomas back in through the second chance she’s given him. Oh, Liam the poor fragile flower!
Liam needs to worry a little less about blaming Thomas and a little more about understanding that he made his own choices that night.
Liam may still save some blame for Thomas, but he’ll indeed deal with plenty of guilt as he opens up to Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) on Tuesday’s B&B episode.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Bill will listen to Liam’s troubles and relate to them since he’s been in a similar boat many times. The Spencer men are prone to surrendering to temptation with old loves, so Bill will get where Liam’s coming from.
However, Bill may think Liam just has to keep hope alive and fight for his family’s future. Since Bill has found hope again in his romance with Katie Logan (Heather Tom) and isn’t the kind of guy who gives up, he may think Hope and Liam have a shot at working things out.
Liam may not be so sure – and Hope won’t be so sure either as she gets advice from Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang). Brooke will certainly have a lot to say as Hope tries to figure out if it’s possible to get over this seemingly insurmountable hurdle.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers state that Brooke won’t want Hope to throw her marriage away, so she’ll be all about forgiveness. Brooke will work to help Hope see the benefit of it and may use her own marriage as an example of how it’s possible to move forward after betrayals.
Brooke will feel like Hope and Liam’s love for each other is what matters most, but Hope won’t be as certain that’s enough to save her relationship this time. This is all building to Hope’s decision to separate, so she’ll drop that bomb on Liam later in the week.
